  1. 14th July
  2. More highlights from the thread :
  3. They're probably mid-update for next season.
  4. This is basically a recap of what we found out between 25 May to 3 June...
  5. 25th May, I already knew by then though.
  6. You'll have to have that argument with MLG. The Prem money for coming 10th is probably worth more than 20 x 46,000 attendances.
  7. Has now signed for Reading : http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18653864
  8. That's probably true, but it's neither "exactly the same" nor sufficient reason for Saints to change their colours !
  9. Absolutely not true. Both were striped and had black down the sleeves but they weren't even the same manufacturer or style. They don't even have the same coloured central stripe. 2006-8
  10. Pretty decent with no bookings in the 4 matches he played in 2005, unfortunately Soccerbase has gone mental re 2006 claiming he played for us for half the season, so I can only say 1 booking in the 7 matches in the first half of the season. Might be worth pointing out this was 6 years ago though. FWIW Butterfield did really well for them until his massive ACL injury on NY Day and they weren't the same without him (or Vaz Te, tbf).
  11. Says he doesn't know what colour their shorts are ! At least we don't have those hideous barber's pole socks, I actually really like the socks we've got.
  12. The red sleeve backlash began in this thread with the kit unveil date on the OS... I've already pointed out all the seasons we didn't get relegated in red sleeves.
  13. Come to think of it, the logical thing for them to do now is launch an all-black 3rd kit. We do have two bolted-on clashes : Sunderland (home kit not yet released but it's adidas so it will look like a striped version of this) : and Stoke : There's no possible way we can wear the white kit at Stoke (white shorts and socks), and wearing a red OR a white shirt with red shorts or socks will just look more like Stoke. So definite 3rd kit potential. Will also be interesting to see if they can wear that blue/red striped away kit when we're in red at home too.
  14. All white with red stripes at the top was probably the 2001/2 first season at St Mary's (and FA Cup semi final), black trim either side of the red vertical stripes ?
  15. The shorts and socks were both replaced by red ones by the end of the season, weirdly. Part of the creeping administration, no doubt.
  16. I like that one a lot as well.
  17. And not Friends Provident ?
  18. Which ? The one with the red down the side ? That *was* one of our best kits ever !
  19. The internet wasn't widely in use in 1985.
  20. What's different, other than Cardiff knowing why theirs has changed ?
  21. Likely to either use the yellow at Stoke and Sunderland or launch a third kit for the first time since the Umbro deal came in. I would lol if it was red and white stripes... maybe they're just trying to drum up some kind of fan action to get people invested in it. Probably giving them too much credit there...
  22. At the same time ? PS I don't suggest holding your breath or 3 days. As the contracts click over on Saturday night and the shirt doesn't go on sale until 11am Sunday they have "plenty" of time. Well, about 36 hours.
  23. Is that the third kit and have you got one ?
  24. Needed the / before the final img.
  25. Just the current ground.
