  1. Looks like Sunderland in about 2002 to me - rear view anyway.
  2. I can confirm they will be black, by virtue of the fact they won't be white or red as you won't be able to see them, and the only other colour the numbers come in is blue - which isn't anywhere else on the kit.
  3. Not 'alf. I was trying not to use the "down 6 to 13" phrasing too !
  4. Chaplow was number 30 last season, how is being #18 "falling" ?
  5. Dickson 5 to 23 Cork new 8 Forte 8 to 17 Puncheon 10 to big fat 0 Guly 11 to 10 Martin 17 to 16 Mills 18 to nowhere Seaborne 19 to 25 Forecast 23 to 31 Bart 24 to 21 Oxlade-Chamberlain 26 to 11 Chaplow 30 to 18 Ward-Prowse new 30 Reeves 38 to 28 much as the OS would like you not to believe it, pretty sure Jack Stephens was in last season's programme as 32 towards the end of the season. Disappearing as they've left : N'Guessan was 31 Dale Stephens was 33 Pulis was 34 There may be others at the high end, e.g Tafazolli had a number last season.
  6. I would imagine Dickson chose 23, what with it being Beckham and Michael Jordan etc. Makes more sense than him having 5, and also it has a 3 at the end reflecting that he's a left back - like Seaborne now has 25 as he's a CB. I wonder if the same goes for Forte getting 17 as a kind of wide man back up number. I reckon Adkins is one of those for whom numbers actually matter, he likes a bit of structure and form... The really weird bit for me is Bart and Lee Holmes swapping numbers. Bart seems to be on a tour of every number we have, I think he's now had 13, 21, 24 and 28 at the very least. Not sure he's ever had 1 though - unless he was maybe number 1 between Jones leaving and Kelvin signing, when Niemi was 14 ? I hadn't even noticed Puncheon didn't have a number (or Mills) and was struggling to think what number Guly had last season for a couple of moments.
  7. Moved this from t'other thread (R.I.P. even though there's loads of away kit speculation in there already...) I'm only just coming to terms with the yellow, give us a chance. I'm still not 100% sure that the double seam on the side of the shorts doesn't contain a sliver of another colour within, like the away shirt this season has a flash of red running up the side which is hidden inside a double seam. I can't believe people are still finding out it's a one year kit as well, the Ugly ran an article on this in JUNE 2011 - Saints and Umbro announced it in 2008 !
  8. Arguably that there's a pointless white bit at the top. Not exactly "special" but worthy of mention if someone had actually seen it. I still refuse to believe that anyone for a millisecond might have considered there being any stars on it.
  9. Ta, absolutely plain black then, and a yellow, rather than gold, or amber logo. Away kit has to be yellow and black as rumoured now, I wonder if they'll put it out there with red shorts with a yellow logo to match the home kit so they can use the home and away shorts interchangeably ? Seems like a smart idea, and otherwise the yellow logos are completely incongruous.
  10. The shorts are black, but as they are shiny and the photo studio was well lit they look sort of gunmetal or ultramarine in the photo. We need a few more pics to tell if the logos are yellow, gold or amber as well. Smart move using the red socks to offset the white sleeves. Kudos to gary r's succinct "wide stripes with white sleeves" from a week or two ago as well. Least convincing genuinely ITK post ever !
  11. I note with interest that you also implied there was something special on the back (was that a guess?) and that the away kit was the Chevron style, so I'm waiting with bated breath to see if you were winging it or not.
  12. Long sleeved are always £5 more than the short sleeved. Stick a name and number on a long sleeved shirt (like I did last year for the wedding) and this year you're looking at £59.
  13. Yeah but Rabbit actually mocked it up, and ages ago.
  14. From 28th June : And here are the two closest mock-ups I could find from the early batch : There are some later ones which may be closer - I know I never got around to downloading a template with the new Cosmos collar so none of mine have it on there.
  15. B Rabbit did a mock up which was this shirt style with a non-outlined aap3 logo and a collar, I did a few mock ups with plain stripes, the original style Cosmos collar (not the newer one that we've got) and white sleeves. And all credit to Katalinic for his Cosmos collar comments back on page 2. Expect the away to be Brazil-like, and based on the colour scheme of the home kit, yellow or gold or amber/red/black. Anyone who said there was black on the arms wants shooting.
  16. Count me in with the mad then. I like the long sleeved better anyway, which is the only one that costs £47. The SS is still £42. Now paying £20 for a pair of plain black shorts with a Saints badge on and yellow/gold Umbro logo I'm not so sure about, though if they're lined I might get them to go with the now-almost-certain-to-be-yellow/gold/amber away shirt. I've already got the socks from buying Sunderland home socks from JJB in the sale last season, and I'm not forking out £10 for the benefit of having Umbro's 2011/12 grey feet on them. Rangers away are the same and still available at £1 a chuck on the JJB site, but only in kids' sizes.
  17. Nice back shot trousers - could be a lot worse, the Sunderland kit has pointless diagonal stripes where we have a plain white bit, and I was half expecting a plain white back. I like it a lot, any pics of the sides of the shorts, they appear to be black with black trim up the side... that yellow's a dead giveaway for the away kit though, yellow or gold with red and black I should think.
  18. It's basically got a decent collar which only 2 other clubs have and no-one has for their home kit, and contrast cuffs which none of the other striped shirt templates have.
  19. If you're on Facebook it's there on the Official saints page too.
  20. Almost certainly yellow given the colour of the logos on the home kit, which wouldn't be there for any other reason - those black home shorts will go with it too then. Interesting choice of boring red socks with white turnovers - I already have a pair of those from Sunderland's kit last season.
  21. Well, I like it.
  22. Pure guesswork, but I'd suspect that would be a baby kit not a mini kit.
  23. Before MLG but after me. What I still don't understand is how people read this kind of information and get it so wrong.
  24. We know for sure that it wasn't 9... basically it was on the OS Facebook Event for the kit launch - but as others have pointed out, that might be the default time - the other thing is that FB events are forever adjusting the time by one hour either way when they get set up, for no apparent reason.
  25. Errr, no, the mini-kit is TBC and the others are all 21/7. Pre-orders are usually sent out to be received on the first day of sale, with the occasional side-effect of them arriving before the sale date. As we have absolutely no-one even claiming to have received one (- until now, I suspect), they aren't going to turn up until tomorrow.
