Hold on, Mrs The9 said 10am, Paul Chuckle said 9am.
-
We didn't sell out the best selling kit in the club's history for about 6 weeks last year, and the away kit is still in store even now (or at least it was 3 weeks ago when I was last there).
-
If Cortese can manage to get us to play in that all season I'll let him off the Tax thing - how the players will be able to move in that skintight all-black number and maintain a backdrop of stripes is going to be Adkins' biggest challenge yet. PS If you posted that thinking that at launch time it'll change to the actual kit so you can be first, I'll point out that its called "blind1" and leave it at that.
-
I'd like to be the first to complain about your misuse of the word "amateur" first. And "delux". And the idea that any of us would use... "Paint". Ugh. I feel unclean. Which I am, cos I daren't take a shower, remember?
-
Ah, THAT'S where Mrs The9 (that doesn't really work ) got it from. She was on about seeing it was 10am yesterday and couldn't remember where she'd seen it.
-
What's the betting that Jack Cork is the main player featured in the kit reveal? He's got to be about 1/50 as the only remotely attractive player we have (says the wife) AND most recent (known) signing? Some bimmer models wouldn't go amiss either, I can't think of a time when we have had a smelly gurl to launch the kit. Oh, and of course, all photos taken will cut off at the thigh.
-
In boring kit-related news, I've just realised that at no point during the pre-order period have the socks been on pre-order, so maybe that's the issue with the kit delivery, if there is one of course. Oops, dropped my guard again. Damn you, toothpaste.

I dunno what's worse, the sense of humour of people on this thread or the people who can't tell they're on a wind-up. On the bright side, it's a useful place to build a list of trolls and the desperate "look at me" wannabe ITK liars. Anyway, I am aware that every microsecond I am posting may be one in which I can't stare at the new kit on the OS when it appears, so I am going to return to my state of high tension readiness, which each of my 15 browser windows ready to refresh. God only knows how I'm going to have a shower this morning or get to work, I only wish The Saint Radio was still running for 24 hour kit news updates. Oh this is so exciting, will it be red and white stripes, or White and red ones?
-
Damn, rumbled. I'm definitely not just going to work in Winchester.
-
I'm not expecting them to bother to justify any of their price hikes any more, that's for clubs with customer service.
-
£47 is the long sleeved. Which was £45 last season. Short sleeved are £42 and were £40.
-
Actually, I'm off to bed, and I'm busy tomorrow, so I probably won't see it until lunchtime. Can't say it bothers me, I couldn't buy it until Thursday even if I wanted to...
-
Especially given that the club has been printing shirts with names and numbers for at least 2 weeks that we know of, and they've blacked off the shirt printing bit for about as long. They're not doing that because "there's no kit there".
-
I've seen it listed on one of the historical kit websites as being amber, but I can't find which one, some of them only have home kits. Saints in amber would rule...
-
I don't like the yellow shorts, but makes no sense to have black shorts for home and away kits. Maybe red ?
-
Yes for the home kit, but not so much for the away kit, especially at the moment when Umbro are foisting that style on a lot of teams. Then again, if it's the "pinnacle" it'll be like Sunderland's away and that won't be the same. Mock up time...
-
I'd be sticking my money on Livingston, actually. Link is here, bit of a large image to post directly : http://www.thefootballnation.co.uk/product_images/x/378/DSC03930__98114_zoom.JPG

I'll see your JPT stars and raise you my Markus Flag shirt from earlier in the thread :
-
Based on the Sunderland socks I reckon they're white with a couple of red hoops. They may also have a black turnover as well, or just a black turnover and no hoops. That's pretty much all of the sock options from Umbro that I've seen so far, but I guaranfckingtee you they will have grey feet on them. I will be responding to most sarcasm with an absolutely stoic response by the way.
-
That had better be a wind up.
-
I don't think that's going to be far off, but it IS just the Sunderland kit without the diagonal bits on the back - and the only reason it doesn't have THOSE is because the template maker couldn't be bothered to do it properly so you could see the pattern through the head-hole. I think we're getting pretty much that, with the same collar as either the NY Cosmos shirt or the Blackburn away kit, with black shoulder flashes from the Rangers home kit style. Mind you I reckon they nicked from my idea for the surround on the aap3 logo. Oh, and I'm not going to have time to trawl this thread for everyone's forecasts and predictions, sorrrrrrrrrrry...
-
I agree with you... as a non-parent.
-
It's not going to be that. It could feasibly be a design with a broad stripe on the front but even if it is the Umbro logo won't be on the sleeve, the red won't be that colour, it won't have a number on the front, it won't have that collar, and the sponsor won't be that big or one colour like that. I'm surprised Umbro haven't sued someone for that crock of shoite mock up having their logo on it.
-
I think the "stuck on sponsor afterthought" will actually look quite decent on a striped kit due to them not using a obviously bolted-on block, but a sensible outlined shape that's faithful to the sponsor's logo shape. So it's not just slapped on, and looks like some effort has gone into it. It mainly looks cack on the away kit and training kit because it wasn't designed to go one those, and there's also no reason for it to have the second outline colour on a plain shirt.

It's ok, filled a spare minute, I've done a lot worse than that on here this week alone.
