Good old school days

A fucked clock tells the right time twice a day

I’m in the other camp i.e. longer it goes on the better for us.
-
A very nice concise little summary of where this is at
-
Wrong. Nothing has changed from a week ago. Just people’s perceptions.
-
Yep - caught the Ayling stutter
-
Bench or Board?

There you go: Mark advises clients in the sports industry on the full range of sports specific problems that arise in the course of their business. He has acted for most of the leading governing bodies and many high profile teams in sports related disputes. Many have been matters of public interest or involved cutting edge legal disputes. Much of Marks work is for governing bodies and teams in industries such as football and motorsport. He represents our clients in disciplinary proceedings, arbitrations and, where no arbitral network exists, in proceedings before the High Court. Through Mark Gay the firm has unparalleled first-hand experience of sports law cases at the very cutting edge combined with an enviable record of success for clients in all proceedings in which we have been engaged.

There was a chap I knew many years ago when I was a youngster called Mark Gay who was and still is a top sports lawyer. He was at the very top of the tree. He would be ideal for this.

“Could face individual disciplinary action”. I could have been a woman if I’d had tits and a fanny.

Where did we stay for the away league game at Boro?
-
Hasn’t got a clue what he’s talking about. Just spouting crap to suit their side of the story
-
Correct Badger. That’s my understanding.
-
As I said yesterday, noise from the media should be ignored. The only people talking to them are Boro. They hate us because we’re feeding them nothing so they will adopt the Boro narrative. It’s not complicated. We could play the same PR game but we’re not a bunch of chippy northern whinging losers.
-
Remember. Gibson’s aim here is to get some money out of this. He has history.
-
The easiest route for the EFL is to fine us and possibly dock points. Boro will sue us not the EFL if that happens.
-
They are not kicking us out and cancelling the biggest game in the EFL calendar only 96 hours before kick off. Won’t happen. It needed to be done this weekend at the very latest for that to happen. The amount of money the EFL will lose by doing that will be staggering. It’s also too late only 96 hours before to expect Boro or whoever to step in. It would be hugely prejudicial to Hull as well. They’re preparing this weekend to play Saints. Not Boro.
-
The level of gross incompetence by the EFL at that time is staggering. There is a full investigation, they bring in at least one new rule as a result of it (i.e. the 72 hour rule) but it never occurred to anyone that laying down some sanctions for a future breach might be a good idea. The guys in charge at that time if any of them are still in charge now should be sacked immediately.
-
And is that why Tonda was so desperate to say something? Because it is not quite as it appears?
-
Negligence (and breach of contract) would be the route to go as a player. The club has a duty of care to the player, they will have breached that duty, the breach caused the loss (and it was foreseeable) and they have suffered a loss as a result. Certainly potential for a claim.

Not implausible at all and if it is anywhere near the truth young Salt will spill the beans. Salt is the only one who knows fully what went on here and I’m assuming he has given a statement to the EFL. That could cut two ways of course……..

Re my messsge above. I’ve had messages of support today from mates who are Arsenal, Derby, Coventry, Norwich, Leicester and Plymouth fans. They all despise Middlesbrough and Gibson in particular.
