I heard from a QPR season ticket holder within the last hour that they, QPR, have approached Saints looking to bring Austin in on loan until the end of the season. He doesn’t know any more than that.

If anyone has two tickets seated together that come free for this game on Saturday, I'm happy to pay face value plus a little on top!

Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?

Cannot believe that we got rid of JRod and swapped him for Carillo -
Anything Coventry suggested or came up with should be avoided like syphilis

We're going to finish 8th and we reached a cup final. A disappointment that we didn't get out of the group stage of the Europa league but all in all it has been a pretty good season. The football has been a bit stodgy at times but to give the man a three year contract and sack him after one year based upon those results seems very harsh indeed. For a first season after losing Wanyama, Mane and Pelle last summer is not a bad achievement at all. So on the face of things it would be foolhardy to sack him when there is no-one obvious to replace him. Saying all of that, the unknown factor is what his relationship is like with the players. We can guess but none of us actually know. If there are big splits in the camp with players threatening to leave then the Board have to decide between letting those players go or letting the manager go. We are heading down a very dangerous path by letting the players get their way especially when you look at how one or two have performed this season. I realise players now have power in the game but you the by sacking him because of player unrest you are basically letting the players pick the manager. That will only end up one way. This is a pivotal time for the club with a massive decision to be made. Get it right and we will be looking at top 8 again next season. Get it wrong and we could be staring a relegation fight in the face.

100% agree qwerty. The only thing that very slightly marred last night for me was seeing JRod so obviously struggling. The mind is definitely willing but I fear the body is not up to this level. At what point do the club say that's it? The end of this season I suspect.

I didn't know that. Ok. Send me an email to matthew.talbot@howespercival.com

You're the first up Sergei. PM me with your name and postal and also email address and I will let you have my Paypal account, email address and phone number. Thanks

Unfortunately my son and I cannot now go to the game on Thursday. I therefore have two tickets for sale - only asking for face value. £30 for the two plus postage of say £3. Block 38, one adult and one U18. Payment by Paypal. I need confirmation tonight so I can send the tickets first thing tomorrow. PM me if you're interested. First come etc...

GM - that is the only webcam I found that appears to be of any use. I've tried finding ones around the San Siro but cannot find any. Jealous is not the word. Lucky lucky boys and girls who are there.

You lucky chaps and chapesses that are going to Milan - can you please post some photos on here for us stuck back in Blighty so we can at least get a taste of the experience.

Romeu is now an improvement on Wanyama
LegalEagle replied to Saint Without a Halo's topic in The Saints
Wanyama was a liability who couldn't pass a ball 10 yards. Romeu is a proper footballer. Wanyama was not. -
Does anyone know please which section of the ground the Saints fans are in for the game?
-
"They aren't a top six club". Errrr, yes we are. Check the final league table last season. Or did all the media luvvies favourite club, West Ham, finish above us? Great to see them struggling.
-
Email the club and ask them. How should the fans on here know any better than you. Let us know when you've emailed them and what reply you get.

Imagine living with someone like him. What a joyless basta$d he is. One of those people that brings everyone down with him. He should have been drowned at birth.

Arsenal sniffing around now. We all know how this is going to end.

Heinsenberg - could be worse you miserable bast*rd, you could be a Hull fan.

I see that Morgan is not among the 25 man squad fro Man Utd's tour of China. You would think that based on that and lack of any news on an injury, he must be off?
-
I see that Rudi Skacel is off to Raith. He's now 37. I cannot believe he's still playing.
-
How do we pronounce his name?!
-
Maggie May - are you serious? Wanyama is at his peak now and that is not great. He's an average footballer in terms of skill but he is built like a tank and is hard to get past. His tackling ability is questionable and he doesn't have an ounce of pace. Personally I think we overpaid for him originally and £11 million now is a good deal for us.

Talksh**e was summed up for me at the beginning of the week when on fat boy Brazil's show (the man with a quarter of a brain) they talked about the teams who could win the premier league. They mentioned all of the usual and even slipped in Everton and West Ham. The piece went on for about 10 minutes. I promise you that in that ten minutes they did not mention Leicester once. Not once. Wa**ers all of them.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink?

A great pity. RK did a good job with us but it will be soured by the way in which he left. To make the public statements he did about staying for his final year and being honourable and the doing a massive U-turn makes him look foolish and not a man of his word. We will replace him with someone better and he will leave Everton within 2 years when something better comes along unless of course he gets sacked before then because their new money man wants instant success.
