My gut feel - nothing more - is that they will give him the Wolves game on Saturday. This is where we have a dilemna. We win he gets to stay - at least for another few games. We lose he’s out. I never have wanted my team to lose before but next weekend I do. This man is like a cancer in our club. He needs to go. The sooner he leaves the sooner we will be united again. He stays we will be relegated. I’ve never been more certain about anything. As i said, he’s a cancer and is as bad if not worse than Branfoot was. We the fans can get rid of him by not turning up next weekend. Loud demonstrations outside St Marys before the game on Saturday by thousands of fans will help bring it to a head. He’s a nasty little egotist with a serious personality disorder. How those appointing him didn’t see this make you seriously wonder if they also should be anywhere near our club.

He’s dead man walking. This interview is the beginning of the end.
-
The way he blames others and his whole manner suggests a very large chip. I’m struggling to understand what those interviewing him saw in him. You really have to question the senior management at the club. They’d struggle to get a job in any other line of work. Football has a habit of employing and promoting average people.
-
He’s incompetent, out of his depth and moreover a blame merchant. If the powers that be cannot see this then the same can be said of them. Admit you got it wrong and sack him. I said after the Forest debacle that I wouldn’t go to another game until he was sacked. I’ve stayed true to my word and others should do the same. Vote with your wallets. Boycott the club until he’s gone. Unfortunately the Man City game glossed over huge cracks. But that’s all it did. Don’t go to the games until he’s gone.

How 5-1 with Skybet

Crab Lungs - I think that you’ve summed it up perfectly. The trend today is to look for any excuse to try and be offended. It’s the mentality and also the general lack of backbone in people that has created a blame and claim culture instead of people just concentrating on the positives in their lives. Always look for the negative.

Usual fans conspiracy theory nonsense. I have it on good authority (won't name my source) that Cedric picked up an injury in the warm up. Nothing more than that.
-
I was at school with Adam Blackmore. I'm sure that he's a nice chap now.
-
I wouldn’t have posted that yesterday unless i completely trusted my source - someone I’ve known for over 20 years. Personally speaking I think Adams will do very well for us. Birmingham fans are truly gutted.
-
I have it on very good authority from someone at Birmingham City that the Che Adams deal is done. I don't know the exact details but the confirmation will break very soon.

It may not be down to Wilson and/or Krueger. We might only have a certain amount that we can or want to spend and/or think the player is worth and are not prepared to go above that. 45 goals in 160 games in League One and the Championship does not make him a world beater and even his record this season does not make him in my view worth anything above £12 million at tops.

The use of the expression "eventually when something does go wrong" is enough for me. Too much of a coward.

They often say that airline pilots are no more than glorified taxi drivers. Not really very accurate when you hear that story about your friend Derry. A fan belt going at 60mph on the M25 is not quite the same as losing all power at 30 odd thousand feet in a jumbo jet. Don't know how people do that job. It's bad enough flying on holiday when the weather is a bit blowy. How you do that every day of your life is beyond me.
-
Not often that I post on here as there is so much garbage, but Stmusic owes Derry a rather large apology. Let's see if he is man enough to do it....................

Quote from the Guardian an hour ago: One player Saints have been linked with is Borussia Monchengladbach winger Patrick Herrmann
-
I heard from a QPR season ticket holder within the last hour that they, QPR, have approached Saints looking to bring Austin in on loan until the end of the season. He doesn’t know any more than that.

If anyone has two tickets seated together that come free for this game on Saturday, I'm happy to pay face value plus a little on top!

Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?

Cannot believe that we got rid of JRod and swapped him for Carillo -
Anything Coventry suggested or came up with should be avoided like syphilis

We're going to finish 8th and we reached a cup final. A disappointment that we didn't get out of the group stage of the Europa league but all in all it has been a pretty good season. The football has been a bit stodgy at times but to give the man a three year contract and sack him after one year based upon those results seems very harsh indeed. For a first season after losing Wanyama, Mane and Pelle last summer is not a bad achievement at all. So on the face of things it would be foolhardy to sack him when there is no-one obvious to replace him. Saying all of that, the unknown factor is what his relationship is like with the players. We can guess but none of us actually know. If there are big splits in the camp with players threatening to leave then the Board have to decide between letting those players go or letting the manager go. We are heading down a very dangerous path by letting the players get their way especially when you look at how one or two have performed this season. I realise players now have power in the game but you the by sacking him because of player unrest you are basically letting the players pick the manager. That will only end up one way. This is a pivotal time for the club with a massive decision to be made. Get it right and we will be looking at top 8 again next season. Get it wrong and we could be staring a relegation fight in the face.

100% agree qwerty. The only thing that very slightly marred last night for me was seeing JRod so obviously struggling. The mind is definitely willing but I fear the body is not up to this level. At what point do the club say that's it? The end of this season I suspect.

I didn't know that. Ok. Send me an email to matthew.talbot@howespercival.com

You're the first up Sergei. PM me with your name and postal and also email address and I will let you have my Paypal account, email address and phone number. Thanks

Unfortunately my son and I cannot now go to the game on Thursday. I therefore have two tickets for sale - only asking for face value. £30 for the two plus postage of say £3. Block 38, one adult and one U18. Payment by Paypal. I need confirmation tonight so I can send the tickets first thing tomorrow. PM me if you're interested. First come etc...
