  2. The EFL have screwed this up royally which might yet play into our hands in terms of relying at the appeal on a technicality. Once they had charged us, the EFL should have pulled the final on the 23rd for a date to be announced. We then have our 14 days to file our submissions and it goes from there. If after that we were still expelled and appeal routes were exhausted then our place in the play offs should have been taken by Wrexham. To just give Boro a bye is a joke. The World Cup hasn’t helped of course because some players needed to be released. No easy answers here.
  3. That doesn’t seem to matter. They sold us 38,000 tickets
  4. There is a chance. Pretty slim but we’re still breathing. I never saw that coming yesterday. I thought the chances of us being kicked out were slim then. Can’t help but think if it had just been Boro then we wouldn’t have been kicked out. We’ve been way too honest here and not played the Man City game book.
  5. This is the panel and their board members https://www.sportresolutions.com/about/board-members
  6. It wasn’t reported. The adjudicating panel were named and you can see on their website who sits on the panel. I have not seen anywhere who sat yesterday however and who is sitting as the appellate body today.
  7. The chairman was a KC and some others on their panel are lawyers or ex- lawyers
  8. I think we should sack Tonda and his team involved in this today. We can then try and use that as an argument at the appeal that we’re taking this seriously. A long shot but it shows some commitment by the club to stamping this out. Get rid of them by 2pm today.
  9. It ends up in court. That’s where it ends. We win the appeal today and the EFL will go to court (along with Boro, Wrexham etc suing us separately). We lose the appeal today and we go to court.
  10. Outstanding. Take a bow that man. Just pissed myself laughing. That will keep me going all day.
  11. Bazunu, Bree, Wood, Capt Jack, Wellington, Bragg, Robinson, Fellows, Edozie, Matsuki, Archer. This lot plus some kids will form the basis of our team next season is my guess. That is of course not a starting 11 but we have a chance of hanging on to them. The rest will probably go to lower half PL teams
  12. Do none of Tonda’s team have an interest in football? I assume that they do so being asked to spy like this, the first thing I would have done was just check what happened as a result of the Bielsa case. Everyone who knows anything about football knows of this. A simple Google search would have shown the new rules that the EFL brought in. Takes 5 minutes at most. We knew but didn’t care. Is that because everyone else is doing it? Of course they are.
  13. Love to know what Tonda was going to say when he said last week that he would speak eventually (or words to the effect). We will have to wait for the autobiography I guess.
  14. Safe to say that we probably won’t see Tonda again in this country. I’d go back home if I were him.
  15. I assume that if we lose the appeal today then the club will be making an urgent application tomorrow for an injunction at the High Court to stop Saturday’s game. If we don’t get the injunction then we have to pay the EFL’s costs for that application. Around £50k to £100k. In the scheme of things it’s a no brainer.
  16. I always liked old Saggy Chops …..
  17. Not an employment tribunal but in a court I think that it’s a decent shout.
  18. You will. Once the cheats have been removed and SR are out of our club.
  19. And if Boro win on Saturday do Hull sue the EFL?
  20. Negligence giving rise to a breach. I think the club have been negligent here.
  21. I know what you mean. It all feels a bit grubby. Imagine if we were reinstated and won it. Every bit of success for years to come would be portrayed as grubby and achieved as a result of cheating. I’ve very much come round to the clean slate mentality. To do that however everyone involved in the cheating must go. No one can be left.
  22. There is a chance and I put it no higher than that, that the appeal or a high court action could be successful here on a technicality. Looking at the EFL rules this morning they have not followed due process. I am hoping (kind of) that the club protested against the lack of 14 days to respond and our response and submissions were filed under protest reserving all rights. Knowing this club and hearing what Parsons allegedly confessed to, the club have very probably fucked this up as well. in any event, who wants to go up because of a technicality. We cheated. End of. It was systemic (only 3 matches - my arse - Tonda thought it was ok so probably every club we played against where we could get acccess). We now have to take this on the chin. Every single person in the club who knew about this and willingly took part needs to be sacked. Players who want to leave should be sold asap and the rebuild starts on Monday. My great fear is that we will dilly and dally and we start next season with poison still in the club. If you offered me lower mid table next year I’d snap your hand off.
  23. On the basis that Tonda says he didn’t know the rules, it’s as sure as shit that this is not limited to Oxford, Ipswich and Boro. If he thought it was ok then we did this to every club we played against. Even Arsenal. Why wouldn’t we? It was ok to do.
  24. Absolutely. If true, you don’t cough that easily.
  25. I find it extraordinary that some alleged Saints fans are turning on others here who had been optimistic about the outcome here and trying to bash them up for it or playing the smart arse. There were things that none of us knew and the club has badly let the fans down. We couldn’t have predicted this. I didn’t see it coming or what the club had been up to. I thought the best of them - what an error that was. But the fans need to stick together. We’ve got really rocky times ahead and we are always the constant. Owners, players and managers come and go. We don’t. Time for us to all unite. Anyway, thinking ahead, Sean Dyche anyone?
