120-1 actually
-
Just the result we wanted. The more draws the better

A six game touchline ban and a chunky fine would be my guess. Something touched on above relates to trying to ban him from the game. That undoubtedly breaches all kinds of employment laws and the Human Rights Act. He hadn’t committed a criminal offence. He’s breached a rule or two of a private company with its own rules. That is fine territory and a smack on the wrists.

Along with the fact that the only two clubs we’ve lost to this season both began with a W, we’re surely stuffed.
-
Wrexham haven’t won at home yet this season
-
5 of our 7 games so far have been against teams currently sitting in the top half. From a cursory check we’ve had the hardest start out of any of our main competitors i.e. West Ham, Boro, Wolves etc. Yet without the points deduction we’d be sitting second. It all bodes well. Now need a win on the road.

Read carefully Fry and slow down. Firstly, I caveated my comment by saying “Based on what we’ve seen so far” i.e. a snapshot. Secondly, I said “since VVD”. I did not compare him to VVD.
-
Based on what we’ve seen so far he’s a distance better than THB and the best centre back we’ve had since VVD.
-
I thought he was motm tonight
-
Charlie - silly comment really. Not defending us in terms of yesterday as we were crap but our record this season so far is better than that of Wrexham (2,2,1 v 1,3,1) and save the 4 point deduction we’d only be 3 points off the top.

“kid from Man City”? You mean the Barman from the Dog and Duck. I will put it out here now. He won’t be with us by the time the transfer window shuts in January.

First half was pretty poor. However the first 20 mins of the second half we had our foot on their throat and Leo was unlucky not to make it 2-0. At that point we were all over them. And then inexplicably Tonda took off our best players who were making it happen. From that point it was diabolical. In over 50 years of watching Saints I rarely ever recall a worse use of substitutes. Tonda got every one wrong. With 10 to go he took off Matsuki and brought on Wood. The inevitable then happened. That last 30 today was simply horrific.
-
Tonda’s love in with Stephens has to stop. Now. You don’t need to have played the game at even semi pro level to see that he is a very long way off Championship level. He’s not even a leader on the pitch. Until Stephens is dropped permanently we will struggle. He was average last season. This season he is a long way from average.
-
I think JWP was arguably our best player today. Not saying an awful lot but he wasn’t crap.
-
Surely Abbott in for the next game? He cannot be any worse than Stephens or Wood. Stephens has been truly awful every minute he has been on the pitch. He’s also constantly on his haunches because he’s unfit.

Football is weird. Someone at some stage must have seen something in Mubama. From what we’ve seen of him so far he doesn’t look like a sportsman let alone a footballer. He looks like the unco kid at school who had two left feet.
-
Genuine question. Is Mubama really rated by City? He looks like a Sunday morning pub player. He’s lazy, uncoordinated, slow and has no reading of the game. And we’ve swapped Archer for him? Wow
-
What wound?

Hate to get legal about this but his agent and lawyer really fucked this up. They should have made it a condition of him joining Villa that he would be in their CL squad. Looks like they jumped at the cash on offer and this was forgotten about. They dropped a bollock here.
-
Bugger. Can’t believe I got done.
-
Hardly. They are a PL club and we aren’t.
-
People also need to remember that with this crap squad we now have (according to many) we beat one of the favourites 5-1 last Saturday.
-
The only sensible comment in the past 24 hours
-
That’s why Blackmore is in Spain
-
There shouldn’t be based upon the reaction of most last night when his name was first mentioned.
