  1. Ross Stewart done
  2. Not sure you’re allowed to use that term
  3. There’s no evidence at all to suggest KWP is going anywhere. He’s not been linked with anyone at any stage and no offers or enquiries have been made as far as we are aware
  4. Give your head a wobble. And by the way this is a business, not an institution with the sole aim of making the likes of you and me happy by spending what they cannot afford. And by the way, 4 games in we’re two points off the top.
  5. That’s a pity. I think he’s better than Manning from what I’ve seen of him so far
  6. He’s doing alright don’t we think after the mayhem of the past 12 months? He’s not a bullshitter which I like.
  7. The thing that people seem to forget whether Adams stays or leaves, we will this season get a decent number of goals from midfield with the likes of Stu and Alcaraz playing. Our midfield looks more than solid. We have potential goals coming from several players.
  8. Che is too good for the championship? Really? I’m afraid based upon his record and his history of missing sitters he really isn’t. I think he is perfect for the Championship and if we go back up again he will be an ok reserve on the bench next season. No more than that. He’s not good enough to be a starter in a PL side as he proved over the last two seasons. Hence he was part of the reason we went down.
  9. Well there is only one winner of the Idiot Child award today (yes he wins both titles) but I see he has vanished in the last two hours. Mum put him to bed. No need to mention the little man’s name.
  10. The answer to that is because is doesn't suit their bed wetting agenda.
  11. The thing is none of us have a clue how much time is spent on any deal, whether any potential deal is ever happening beyond rumour mongering on Twitter and the like or what the club, the management or the players are thinking. We have no idea whatsoever about anything. It is 99.9% guesswork by everyone on here. So to say that "We'll almost certainly lose Che & Tella and we'll most probably lose KWP and Sulamana as well" is entirely guesswork and speculative on your part. Nothing more than bed wetting and scaremongering.
  12. I’d take that
  13. He’s 5ft 9in - that’s not around 6ft. He’s a relative midget.
  14. What Everton news?
  15. I see many references on these pages to ABK being gone. I don’t believe this will happen in this window. He’s apparently carrying an injury - again - and he’s far from being match fit. I suspect we’re going to be carrying him until at least January as I don’t believe anyone will pay decent money for him in his current state.
  16. 112 goals in 185 games over the last 6 seasons
  17. He doesn't exactly look delighted to be joining us. Miserable bastard. Doesn't he realise that this is the greatest moment of his life?
  18. Like the great West Indian cricketer, Everton Weekes. I believe Che’s dad is from the Windies.

    Che Adams

Totally agree. An absolute no brainer. If you said to me now that we go back up with Che this season but we lose him on a free next summer, I’d rip your arm off.
  20. I wouldn’t sell Adams. He scores 25 for us this season we will almost certainly be back in the PL next season. If he goes on a free then so be it but being back in the PL would have paid for losing him then anyway. Chances are however that if we are back in the PL we may not offer him a new contract on the basis he’s not a PL player but we may offer him three years at that stage. He needs to think very carefully. He could go to Everton and easily pass us as they go down and we come up. Think long term Che. As a club however we should not be selling. We don’t need the money and we have no suitable replacement anyway.
  21. I think he could have offered us something this season. I would have had him in the squad ahead of the likes of Aribo, Djenepo, Tall Paul, Mara etc
  22. With an apparent lull in transfer activity, I thought I’d start a healthy discussion. If Saints were struggling by Christmas, mid table or lower and we binned off RM, who would welcome SW as manager? Would it work? Interested in people’s thoughts. My view is why not but perhaps I’m being naive.
  23. It’s not. Barry Venison is coming out of retirement.
  24. And that cross from Steve De Ridder. Makes you realise watching that how we slag off some of those old players but they were better than most of the shite from last season such as Tall Paul, Sulemana, Aribo, Elyonoussi etc
  25. Don’t want to turn this into a political/human rights forum but I’ve worked in recent times in a legal capacity with various human rights groups trying to help people in Saudi. The things that go on out there are horrific. Beyond your worse nightmares.
