Commentators think that Davis is nursing an injury.
-
Yoshida misses a decent chance.
-
More great pressure by Saints. Surely we have to score soon...?
-
Yellow for Romeu, he wins the ball with a header but cleans the Swansea player out on the follow through. Seemed harsh to me.
-
Tadic gets mugged by Fernandez on the edge of the box...referee does not award a free kick.
-
Decent long range effort by Redmond rises about a foot too high...more decent pressure from the left wing, and JWP forces a relatively comfortable save.
-
We are tormenting them on the left wing...another nice ball by Redmond, JWP scuffs the header and then Redmond pulls a shot wide.
-
Decent chance for JWP, deflected for a corner...nice run and feed by Redmond.
-
Redmond gets a yellow for taking the goalie out as he clears.
-
It's on the telly over here...
-
Big chance for Swansea...Abraham misses his header from a Routledge cross.
-
Tadic should have finished that...great build up by Bertrand and Redmond.

The 3-3 goal did look a little offside. It's probably all part of some worldwide anti-Liverpool conspiracy. About the last thing the commentators on my feed said was how much Liverpool needed VVD

Keystone cops defending on Watford's second goal.

Simply fantastic, although Coutinho has no yet achieved full VVD. I imagine that the folks in Leipzig are having a laugh as well. A great Liverpudlian once wrote a song called "Instant Karma". It is now stuck in my head. Can't see it leaving anytime soon.

Thanks that's very interesting. I wonder if the misdialled / missent message was a piece of evidence that the club held back, or if they submitted it to the PL for their investigation back in June. At the risk of stating the obvious Virgil's press release on Monday was despicable. It still aggravates me three days later.

This is a player signed for £4.3M two years ago, who has spent most of the intervening period warming Spurs' bench. We are in inflationary times, but that price is ridiculous.
-
Coutinho wants the move, according to the reports in a variety of newspapers. He needs to be a "good lad" and "do his bit" for Barcelona, by acting despicably, like someone else we know.
-
It has but you are bang on. The comparison to the regular employment situations of ordinary working stiffs like us that some make (especially Liverpool supporters) is a complete fallacy.
-
I imagine that Coutinho will slowly escalate things. He wants to appear like a nice guy to the Liverpool supporters at first, but it would not surprise me if he eventually goes full VVD on them to get his move.
-
I get the implications concerning VVD's international career - Holland do seem to have some good young options at CB right now and i'm not sure how it will play in Holland if he misses the big game against France because of this mess. Not having a match fit VVD could be very damaging to their already shaky WC prospects. I just want **** Advocaat to keep his nose out of the club's business, if he plans to attempt some kind of intervention in favour of the player, which he sort of implied yesterday... Other Premier League Transfers - Deadline Day
Saint Albert replied to Lighthouse's topic in The Saints
Barcelona doing some pretty epic trolling of Liverpool. Andy May of BTSport tweeted today: "Already getting emails from Barcelona offering television coverage of @Phil_Coutinho Barca presentation this Friday #keen" -
The club (to my knowledge) have never accused VVD of refusing to train. Pellegrino has clearly stated that he is training, just away from the first team squad. The two allegations I heard were, after talking to Pellegrino VVD admitted that his mind was not 100%, which came directly from the manager. The allegation that VVD has refused to play in the first team's preseason matches is out there as well, or he said he was not 100% mentally ready to play. I can't remember who made that allegation - Pellegrino I think. If true, then the comments accompanying VVD's transfer request on Monday from his representatives truly are bull****.
-
Now he's stuck his oar into this mess by telling Saints they should let VVD go,, I could really care less about **** Advocaat's dilemma.

And those are the comments that avoided deletion by their moderators. There's a complete lack of self-awareness over there. If Sakho took Liverpool to court for being frozen out of the first team, they'd lose their nuts.
