...and I say that knowing that for some reason Les tends to say yes to Liverpool.
-
Unlike the Mirror rumour, there's multiple reports on this, so it sounds like it will happen. Still, I suppose that Les can still say no considering that the transfer fee has not been agreed.

Dominic King, NW reporter for the Mail, has tweeted that VVD has chosen Liverpool: https://mobile.twitter.com/DominicKing_DM/status/871758740239904770

The other thing that has them all excited is this. I'm not very good with Twitter so I hope it works... https://mobile.twitter.com/AlexReaSport/status/871735154661883904

An ITK on the newly-revitalized VVD RAWK thread posted that he has had his medical and has signed with Liverpool: https://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=335603.1360 I'm having a hard time believing it. As a side note, RAWK has very active moderators. One might almost call them authoritarian.

That was about as funny as an ingrown toenail. What a daft thing to tweet about. And of course, it has made the news in the bastion of British journalism (the Sun), so now the whole country can see how hard it is to write simple sentences in English.

Seems a little harsh on McQueen.

Well, at least she got the second "your" right.
-
It was certainly drab at Man U. I would be irritated if we end up with LVG.
-
There is internet noise out there saying Palace are after Tuchel, but there are also rumours that they want a long-term appointment rather than a manager who views them as stepping stone. Dyche's name is coming up for them. It could all be ********.
-
That sounds like something Chelsea would do It's a decent point though- all the "big" club managerial positions are filled. If Saints, Palace and Leverkusen are not sufficiently attractive to him, why not wait until one becomes available? Emery is probably one poor stretch from getting the sack at PSG.

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

Bravery and duty personified. Last night's seriously injured bobby confronted the three machete-wielding nutters armed only with his truncheon. I hope he recovers. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/06/04/incredibly-brave-stabbed-police-officer-fought-attackers-armed/ -
Crap. I meant to say thread.

Monk (and Beattie) are close to signing with 'boro, according to the media.
-
It has single-handedly revived RAWK's VVD threat.

No no don't do that, mainly because it would be profoundly illegal in a free and democratic society. I would like to know what the intelligence and police communities are doing with the estimated 750 British ISIS fighters, who are looking to return to the UK. I would be content to see some limitations on their freedom. -
Yes it sounds like an agent attempting to drum up interest to me.

CNN reporting the stabbing at nearby Borough Market. -
RAWK have seen enough - they've already locked their VVD thread. Seems a bit precipitous to me.
-
This journo seems awfully sure of himself.
-
He could certainly teach them a thing or two about taking penalties.

Ridgeciano Haps being lined up to replace Bertrand in the event he leaves, according to some reports: http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/15314381.GOSSIP__Saints_linked_with_Dutch_defender/

Interesting "banter" in the replies. Liverpool supporters really are desperate to reel him in.
-
The idea of VVD and Stephens starting the season together gets me all excited.

This must depend on what has happened between Saints and Puel. If he has been fired, then surely St. Etienne would not be required to pay compo, and his move there would mitigate any financial loss he has sustained as a result of his contract being ended prematurity by the club. In the event that St. Etienne pay him less than he would have earned staying at Saints for the next two years, Saints may be required to pay Puel the difference. If he has not been fired and is pulling a sneaky one, which I doubt, then St. Etienne may have to pay compensation.
