With the upcoming November fixtures we really needed a win. Gabbi showed his goal scoring class in this game. It amazes me that Pellegrino has been so reluctant to start him. Lemina is such a good player. Boufal offered something coming on but lacked an end product. VVD has added solidity in the air for corners and free kicks, but overall it’s all a little numbing for me. Can’t think of too many positives from that game.

VVD did well to get his head on that shot. Corner to Newcastle...and VVD heads it clear for the final whistle.
