It naturally happens but according to this guy, Carlisle are directed to the north of Wembley and Saints directed to the West.
-
Yes, it's a 'hotel' When I asked what time will it be open he replied " whatever time your coach turns up mate, we are licensed from 7am "
-
Between £700 and £900 for a 53 seater on average. I got one for £850... but that includes a super early start and 3 pick-up points / drop-offs and a late finish. *Tip... get a quote for a straight trip to Wembley... when they quote you then state you have free parking, they will have to knock £50 off whatever they quoted you.
-
It's worth noting that it is a 'Saints fans only' pub, being on the West side of Wembley. Luton at the said pub in the JPT last season.
-
My payment is in beer Rees..... should you be in the pub then I shall buy you a pint! ;-)
-
No. They park inside the stadium itself actually.

I have decided to go public with the details... mainly because there is something in it for me ( so please quote Stu when you book ) I have been in contact with the landlord of The Green Man Hotel is 5 minutes walk from the West entrance ( Saints end ) to Wembley, the pub is licensed from 7am and they will open as soon as the first coach arrives. They have car parking, minibus and coach. Coach parking for Southampton fans is FREE as long as you arrive 3 hours prior to kick-off, it's also on the other side of the ground to the main coach park, meaning it is easy to get in/out of and you avoid the hour wait after the game if you want to get away quickly. There is food available all day, BBQ and normally 4 or 5 bars inside and out, so little waiting time. For further details contact Mal on 07506 840652 ( and quote Stu ;-) )

If you are taking a coach up there, I know somewhere very close with free parking... and more to the point, it's in a pub car park. PM me for details. -
Shouldn't this thread be in the muppet show?

Your not ripping off your mates by charging them £5 less than the travel club charge, are you?

If P*mpey get wound-up on Friday :Poll:

I've got it. Give Brum the bye and arrange a friendly against them instead and we can all have one big parrrrrrrrttttttttehhhh!!! -
Anyone who wants to make a very quick buck... have a word round the local coach companies.... plenty still have 53 seaters left, going at about £700 or £900 if you want to get into London early and leave London late. Charge £20 a piece and make yourself at least £150 for your troubles, and still £5 cheaper than the bingo bus. No brainer.

I find it suprising that you are in your 30's and spend your time trying to wind people up on a rival teams forum. On another not of rivallry, I could not stand it having to read inbred drivvle on whatever tinpot forums you lot post on.

Like I said, little old me was quoted on average £700 by a number of companies. £13 a head. The safety people on there are generally stewards who don't get paid, just do it for a free ticket. There is not a hope in hell they cost double what little old me is paying for one.

Trading whilst insolvent is illegal, therfore any loan purchases which carry an addition to the wage bill would be deemed illegal. -

Brum to get a bye yes, but if we wanted to appeal, we would almost certainly win it. -

Good idea. And make AFC P*mpey pay it. -

Well ok, but we will know by Friday if they are going to the dogs. -
lol... you had 13k home fans for your last Premiership game, and yet you still quote figures near to that if you were non-league? You would have next to no season ticket holders, average will probably be 5-6k, dropping dramatically for midweekers and super sh!te teams. You would also have to ground share with Havant and Waterlooville ( I am not sure how you think you would sustain Fratton Park in the non-league ) I really hope you don't own your own business!
-
Would you like the club to appeal on the grounds of O'Hara, Tosic and Abeye being purchased whilst the club is insolvent... meaning they gained an unfair advantage by playing players they couldn't afford? It is an appeal we would almost certainly win and would almost certainly be reinstated if that's the route we wanted to take. The 2 options the FA have in the event of being liquidated is to either offer Birmingham a bye or reinstate us to play Birmingham. I say give Birmingham the bye, we lost the game so let Birmingham have a bye. Having said that, it would rub salt into a very painful wound if we were reinstated and went on to beat Birmingham. Poll? 1) Reinstate us. or 2) Give Birmingham a bye.

Direct coach to Wembley I got quoted was £700 for 53 seater. It does say proudly on the Saints Charter that they operate coaches at cost price, which even if they got the same deal as me, would be £13 a head... take into account a discount of about 20% for group booking and the cost price to the club is more closer to about £10 a head. lol... impressive markup skills for a non-profit branch of SFC... :-)

It wasn't theft, I spent good money on her getting her p!ssed enough to be able to get her to invite me back to her house... I didn't get to slam her due to her student/skate revelations. Therfore I was just claiming back what was mine.

60,000 people trying to get up to London on 1 train an hour with delays due to works. No thanks. :-) xx
-
I booked my own 53 seater, with stops in London town before and after the game at a boozer. Works out £17 a head. Nice little earner for the club there. Probably 100% markup... good business. :-)
