Ticketing policy for the JPT Final
StuRomseySaint replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
And they will... IF there is any left. If I was you what would i have done? Bought a ticket and not used it for the final... a safe £20 gamble if we get to Wembley. The ticketing priorities have been advertised for weeks. -

We have clubbed together our season tickets, 15 in all and will be buying a block of 30 seats, I am sure our plastic mates will snap up the other 15. -

If you listened to the PA Announcer, he said anyone who was in the stadium last night is GUARANTEED a ticket. And if you don't get one because season tickets snap them all up, tough sh!t. -
There won't be massive trouble.... it will be complete overkill all over Southampton with police, few fights breaking out here and there, that will be about it.

I remember last years Valentines weekend where our darling Mr Pointon got his 'football intelligence' a little bit wrong. Hardly any lads made the trip... he got the wrong end of the stick and listented to a rumour, ordered over 100 riot police to be in the Saints end at Bristol City About 40 OB, vans and horses ended up escorting 15 lads.

To summarise, you can brush it under the carpet as much as you want, Southampton are a Cat C team along with Millwall and Leeds in this division. I will leave you to work out why that is.
-
Let's get a few things straight. 1) Millwall and P*mpey mobs absolutely ******* hate each other, they certainly won't be coming down to team up with P*mpey. 2) If they were going to have a pop at P*mpey I very much doubt they would do it on what will be one of the highest policed games in the country this year. That is all.

I got asked for ID by some scrawny little 17 year old geek last year. ( I'm 30 ) I wouldn't have minded but... 1) I was with my 9 and 10 year old sons! 2) I pulled up in a relatively new BMW! 3) I was paying by credit card! She wouldn't actually serve me and I had to stand at the till and get her manager to come over and approve I looked over 18..... he walked off again.... then just to rub salt in the wound.... she had to ring the f*cking bell to get someone else to serve me anyway as she wasnt 18 herself!!!! C*NT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With respect though... everyone says about HMRC... they are not the only ones on the petition now, so they might settle them, what's to stop the other 2 ( as I believe it ) from digging their heels in and sending them under?
-
Surely there isn't a problem as long as you recieve it before the game, numptyb*llocks? I have not recieved my spare P*mpey ticket yet... I'll start to get annoyed if I don't have it by Thursday... today is Tuesday.
-
Wow.... some people must be handing tickets back! There was 5000 left yesterday morning, now there's 7000 left.
-
So your end of season Sky cash ( your last clump because you and me both know you will be Championship next year ) You might settle HMRC but there is absolutely no way you will avoid administration, your best case scenario is to be dropped into it before it counts next season... you've then got the worries of satisfying HMRC because they have fooked many a club over when it comes to CVA's Now, seriously, as I have said before, my old man is a director of one of the largest companies in P*rtsmouth so he knows all the faces in your sesspit of a town... Chanrai's reasons for calling in his debt is not to save P*mpey... and he knows as well as the rest of us, that until admin, you won't find a buyer. In the eyes of any investor, you are a Championship team... the level of money you are talking about for someone to invest in a Championship team is absurd... especially when there is better, and with more potential available ( Newcastle and Palace to name a couple ) I have it on good authority that you are dooooooooooooomed.

Milton Keynes rallying call :-) Shame

B*llocks... requires admin to activate it. -

I feel a board invasion is in order. -
Which are sold out for this game.

I think you are forgetting the small matter of a new stadium ( £100m because they see to keep coming up with obsenely expensive plans ) Or another £10m or so to build a training ground. Not to mention this will all take place without Sky money because they are almost certain to be in the Championship next year. Wow.... thats a bargain, I'll have 2 please.
-
Good point, it's probably our f*cking ticket money!!!!
-
LOL That makes me chuckle, they owe millions but are chartering flights. What a bunch of c*nts.
-
Yes, I know it's not about profit... but it is about having the facilities ready made to win trophys etc... the fans to come through the door to pay the bills. I could go through probably about 70% of the clubs in Premiership and Championship who would be a much more attractive proposition ( and cheaper ) then P*mpey. Nobody in their right mind is going to pay the sort of money, including debts to take on a team who, will almost certainly be playing in the Championship next year.
-
Our hardcore fanbases are most definately not similar. They have 9,000 STH in the Premiership We have 13,500 STH in League 1 If we were in the Premiership then we would have around 23,000 STH If Pompey were in League 1 then they would have around 6,000 imo As much as the skates hate to admit it, we have a MUCH larger fanbase, that is fact. As for swing voters following London clubs... they are only 7 miles closer to London!

Its linked to any game, pick another game. If you dont intend on going to St Marys again between now and the end of the season then you dont deserve one. :-)
-
LOL - When they look at your books mate I suspect they will run a mile. P*rtsmouth is financial suicide for any businessman looking for a profit to invest in. The club will only be attractive when it is in administration and all debts are cleared. I am almost certain you won't get an investor before then... to get P*mpey on the straight and narrow and a competitive Premiership team of the future, the new owner will need to spend Man City type money on players, stadium, increasing the fanbase, training ground etc etc... Investors are not going to spend that sort of money on a club like P*rtsmouth when they can buy clubs like Newcastle etc for alot less... even Crystal Palace would be more attractive as a football club than P*rtsmouth in my opinion.

I prefer this thread.

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/portsmouth/article7015876.ece lol Mrs Grant says... “He’s a great manager with amazing potential who is stuck in a sh!tty team.” Priceless.
