Various Fitness Equipment and a Nintendo
StuRomseySaint replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in Buy / Sell
No. I am selling them because I have 2 gym memberships and never use the home gym equipment, and they are in the way in the garage which is soon to be converted. -
Indeedle, that is the one.
-
Yes that is Amy, a few of you old-school S4E's might remember me posting a few pics about 5 or 6 years ago. Not bad eh?
-
Completely unrelated, I was just talking to a old mate on MSN and didn't even realise that she is now in Gladiators as 'Siren' How cool is that!

I have a few items for sale. A motorised Carl Lewis treadmill, almost brand new, only been ran on a couple of times, cost over £300 new. A Reebok X-Trainer, again in decent nick. Ideal if you want to set up your own gym or just looking to get fit. Am only selling because I am a member of 2 gyms so don't get to use them much, not because I am too fat... honest. Lastly, Nintendo DS Lite, in a kind of greeny/bluey colour, has only been used a couple of times. Offers on any of the said items. Spanks.

Final figure will be about 14,000 I suspect, a rush today and tommorow ( payday ) and another rush in the couple of days leading up to the start of the season, especially if we sign a few 'known' faces.

To be honest, no offence but I am sick to the back teeth hearing the 'well at least they are doing something' line. No, no they haven't. The Saints Trust have done the bare minimum for their membership, doing just enough to allow them the perks, such as direct contact with the board of SFC and interviews for press and media. The bucket collection was arranged through this forum, it simply carried Saints Trust name, the same with Saints Aid. So no, the Saints Trust board members are not 'trying to help other Saints fans in their spare time' , they are trying to get their mugs on TV as often as possible and cosy up to the board. Luckily now, we won't have a fan anywhere near the board, SFC is a business, it is a business owned by ML, and what he says, goes. How many privately owned businesses have their customers on the board? Not many, thank fook.

All the club needs is a full time employee who's full time job is Customer Relations. B*llocks to all the fan representation. The Trust have managed to kill off anyones belief that a supporters organisation will succeed. I wonder if the Trust are going to explain why the Trust have not communicated with their membership ONCE since administration? People have paid money to own a share in the Trust ( well some have, lol ) Why have the Trust not contacted their members, even if it is just a holding statement to let their membership know where they stand. I will tell you why, because Nick Illingsworth and the rest of the Trust board do not give a fook about their membership, they do not give a fook about representing their membership, all they give a fook about is having an organisation they claim to represent so that they can get their mugs on the TV as often as possible. B*llocks to all the sh!te about 'well at least they actually got of their arses' blah blah blah.... did they? What have they actually done? Their website is out of date, they have not had an AGM since 2007, they have sat in silence since inception, the only time they have released statements/ideas, they have done so on a personal level, and not once have they ever represented anyone other than themselves.

Go All-Inclusive, regardless of where in Egypt you stay. As much as you can drink / eat ( stomach ) from 6am to midnight. Absolutley love Egypt, went to Hurghada last year and going to Sharm in October. You get treated like royalty simply for slipping a quid as a tip. If you just want hotel holiday by the pool then go to Hurghada, it is a bit more cheap, and because you are English, instead of the 90% others, you get treated like royalty and as a priority to the Italians, Germans and Eastern Europeans. Sharm is more English. If you smoke ( even if you don't ) you can get 200 ciggys for about £6, I bought back 2000 (With a street value of £400 and RRP of £550 ), they cost me £60. To summarise, I made effectively £490 profit ( as I was smoking then ) , my holiday cost me less than that. Happy Days. Oh, and the Pyramids really ain't that great.

Of course they would use a PR agency, for a start they have no experience in football, and for another start, they have no experience of the English culture and behaviours etc. Not really big news, they would be completely stupid to act on impulse and not employ a PR agency.

Dell Cafe is a subscription supporters club, it should be rolled out on more evenings and non-matchdays for events, functions etc, get someone completely new to chair it, free or very cheap subscription, quarterly forums from the execs and management etc, subsidised travel club etc It needs to be run from someone within the club though, first and foremost, an employee to act as a link between fans and club.

They sponsor a roundabout and have a few banners flying from the lamp posts. And their Chairman goes on TV and Radio often to speak on behalf of the fans, he even manages to get him and Saints ridiculed in the Private Eye! Surely that's loads? I know deep down they don't exist, I just want them to admit it and shut the website down, stop speaking to the Echo as the 'Chairman of Saints Trust, SFC's largest fans organisation' etc et Same goes for SISA as well.
-
Surely it is now time for the Saints Trust to fold? The joke of an organisation have had no communication with their 838 members *s******* for well over a year. Let's forget the falsely and fraudulant claims over their membership figures for a change. Their last AGM was almost 1 year to the day? Are they having one this year? It is time the Saints Trust ceased to exist, by all means set up a 'Supporters Club' if you want, people can choose to join it if they want, I guess it would be alot more respected if the usual crowd were not there. The fact the Saints Trust have not even communicated with their members since we entered administration 4 months ago, shows what utter contempt they have for their members and proves conclusively how the Trust is purely a vehicle for a few egos to get their mugs on TV. Time for the Saints Trust to fold. The club have moved on, so should they.

What was more impressive was the bright orange tie he was wearing. It looked as though he was wearing it for a bet.

Breaking News From David LLoyd I am currently reporting live from David Lloyd where I can confirm that todays sightings are once again the British Sailing Team, not only that, but Paul Telfer. He was spotted entering the Sauna at about 11:35am, I am unable to confirm if this was after a workout or if he was simply visiting for a Sauna. I would have gone and asked him a few questions but a) It's very gay speaking to football players when they are out it public and probably quite annoying. b) It is super dupa gay following a football player into a sauna to have a chat. That's all for now, well almost all, our old goalkeeper coach ( Coles ) has just walked past. Impressive stuff. Living the celebrity life Regards SRS

Is there pay on the gate? I am working in London that week and thinking about driving down for it, but it depends what time I get finished. Failing that, I think I will go and watch Leyton Orient v Charlton
-
I spend at least 40 hours a week at a gym thanks, the fact I work at one is neither here nor there, the fact I am a member at another gym, when I could have one for free at my workplace says absolutely nothing about the gym I work at. Anyway.... moving on.... Nothing to report today. I did notice a possible new signing in the pool, I would have taken a picture, but I got told off for doing that the other week.
-
I am just off to David Lloyd now, I will look for any Saints players, or ex ones, or British Sailing Team, and of course, MILF Hunting. I will report back with news and possibly photo's. Stay Tuned.
-
I saw Jason Dodd at David Lloyd last week, he said the words 'm*ther f*cker' when he realised he had forgot his £1 for the locker, which made me giggle. That is all the news I have.
-
Good stuff, not only P*mpey having a reason to come here, but Southampton is renowned for having a very large Catholic Northern Irish community, hence Celtic fans. Could be interested, but it won't, can't see either team travelling..... having said that, I wouldn't be suprised if Millwall went back to London via P*mpey, they f*cking hate them!
-
Nick doesn't fink.
-
I've spent most of my Saints days getting ****ed in town, what's wrong with that?
-
wrong? How? I said Klinnsman was at St Marys last week.... he was. I did also speculate that it was probably/maybe in a consultancy role... which it quite possibly was.
-
Probably. :-(
-
I am right that he was at St Marys last Saturday, I was dreaming about the him and Strach duo, it may be as simple as he was being paid in a consultancy role to find a new manager... or he may be on the shortlist.
