Seeing as MLT is still on the payroll and effectively an employee of Sky, I am pretty certain they would have been in contact with him to check on the story, and also get clearance to put it on the news.

Yes.

How many managers are there that can claim to have won promotions in both League 1 and Championship? There can't be many, surely?
-
Apart from winning promotion with Fulham, you mean?
-
Apparantly Illingsworth thinks that Wotte has as much experience of League 1 management as Keegan. Silly Nicky

I think it is Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Games you wish you'd been sober at....
StuRomseySaint replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in The Saints
I ended up driving a minibus to Reading last year, got the dates wrong and double-booked and had to be back for the missus best mates birthday bash. Ended up spending almost 2 hours trying to find all of my completely wasted mates and still missed the birthday party.... so staying sober and still getting it in the neck on the way back. Rubbish. The only other time I drove to a game last season was Derby, took three mates, luckily 2 of them got so wasted that they ended up getting nicked, that saved on petrol on the way home f'sure. Driving to football does not work. -
I would happily have Gray and Wigley involved at SFC in a coaching role, both of them are two of the most respected 'coaches' in the game.

... FA Cup Final for me. I remember very little, patches of the train journey there, falling over onto the platform at Cardiff Central, and seeing Matt Le Tissier on the TV in one of the pubs. ..... the rest I had to remind myself of a few days later, watching the recording on Sky. :-(

Ruddocks against Notts County, I think it might have been Shearer that was getting picked on by the Notts County CB, Ruddock ran the length of the pitch to floor the player ( I am sure the name was Burley (?) . He trotted off to a standing ovation, even taking time to throw his shirt into the Milton on the way to the tunnel!

Can someone post the picture please? I miss her.

Because his family still live in Romsey and he still has a property in the area?

Gotta feel sorry for Claus, poor bloke. :-( -
Not really. Ex-Player Daughter still lives in Romsey He still owns a house just outside Romsey Looking for work possibly. Pretty much zero pressure job. Would not surprise me at all.

Had been talking to Goldie Looking Chain then Xain came up to me and asked if he could have a picture of me and my mates with him... he duely got a bystander to take a picture. We also took the opportunity during the sailing to have a picture with some of them... ( this was after their initial request, for the record )

I think it is Andrew Lloyd Webber of Michael Tabor

I am famous enough for Goldie Lookin Chain to approach me and my mates and ask to have a photo of him with standing with US. I f*cking roxer.

Only drank 40 tokens but would easily match 60 pints I think, if taking into account the beers I powered through at the tent. I had 5 hours sleep between 6am on Friday morning and 11pm on Sunday night though... that takes some beating, surely?

Influential maybe, but I don't feel that they reflect the crowd which goes to the IOW Festival, Neil Young will no doubt be more welcome at Glasto... but the lack of hippy 'alternatives' at the IOW meant that a sh!t load of people had gone home early by the time he came on. I changed my ferry to come back last night, as there was nothing really worth waiting for after Simple Minds on the Sunday..... a hell of alot of other people decided to do the same thing.... the ferry was packed! Did manage to hang out with Goldie Lookin Chain on the way back though, them c*nts are nutters!
-
Not the best festival, but still had a fookin awesome time. The sh!te lineup from about 8pm on Sunday meant that we could fook off early and get the ferry back last night, which was a bonus. One bad note, was the organisers stupid rule to give a 10p refund on cups.... leading to children running round the site scavenging trying to find as many as they could, going through bins etc. Disgusting. Strawberry Fields was better this year and there was more to do. On the bands, I thought that the top 5, in no order would be... Basement Jaxx Razorlight Goldie Lookin Chain Stereophonics The Script Not sure why Goldie Lookin Chain were on Sunday at 2pm, they should have been on Friday night before Jaxx and Prodigy, a few other issues with bands being in the wrong places, and a massive f*ck up in the choice of top 2 acts on Sunday, but overall a great weekend!

Kevin Phillips' wife didn't seem to care.

No I don't. I happily admit that. Much of that is based on limited knowledge of the setup, you are much more qualified to say what would happen to them in the SLH afterlife. What I do know is that absolutely nowhere in their membership policy does it state that any members of the Trust will have their 'head' counted in the Trust membership figures for life, regardless of whether they want it to be or not. That makes them wrong and corrupt, as well as desperate, and probably illegal too.
