Yes, he is a massive Leyton Orient fan, a team which recently had a proposed takeover back out..... then a certain chairman of Leyton Orient having a completely unprovoked attack on Southampton FC in the press very recently...... Hmmm.... the plot thickens eh?
-
And I have heard nothing reputable about any of them being involved. I am not basing this on ITKness. I just done a bit of digging and tried to fill in the missing jigsaw pieces. I am sure you will agree, that although they may not end up being from the correct box, they all fit.

I believe that the 'four very wealthy businessmen, one of which is a household name' which was quoted by Lynam as approaching him are... Magnier McMannus Tabor Lloyd-Webber One of them I believe stuck around, I teniously linked Magnier and McManus to the 'Irish Bid' believing they broke away and decided to go it alone... Which leaves Tabor and Lloyd-Webber. Hence why I dont the Pinnacle-Mick Channon-MLT link. Lloyd-Webbers wife is a major shareholder and director of Newbury racecourse. ( Channons 'home' racecourse ) Lloyd-Webber, Tabor, McManus and Magnier have on numerous occasions been in business with each other, through horse consortiums and property, and other businesses. I can't find anything to say they are not the original four, I ruled out Magnier and McManus, linking them to the Irish bid... which leaves either Tabor or Lloyd-Webber left at the table.

Pinnacle - Mick Channon - MLT And Lynam who is brokering the deal, is a good friend of MLT. Quite a simple link-through there I think.

I don't think anyone 'knows' , but once SLH PLC is delisted, then stock is removed, therefore shares no longer exist. You might be right and there may be a loophole to continue as a 'Trust' for SLH PLC, but surely this would be pretty worthless, as it would have absolutely no affiliation to Southampton Football Club. I have no doubt though, that if there is a way, then Saints Trust will try and exploit every loophole to keep hold of their 838 *s******* members.

I think it might be Andrew Lloyd Webber or Michael Tabor.
-
SLH is being de-listed, which means the shares will be worthless. Our new owner will have 100% ownership in the club. Any previous shareholders will have no stake in the new company. Therfore their shares are worthless and they can no longer claim to represent their made-up figure of 838.
-
What if the head of SFC intelligence picks up the phone? That could be quite awkward.
-
No. And as it has no shares, it cannot include people as lifetime members without their consent, and claim to represent them. They keep saying they are a 'legal' vehicle.... well completely fudging your membership numbers is completely illegal, isn't it?
-
I see the Saints Trust are still claiming to represent 838 fans. I have looked through their membership policy, and I cannot seem to find anywhere anything that suggests that once you have become a member, you are a member for life. Maybe one of the Saints Trust can correct me? Lastly.... why have the Saints Trust wiped off every piece of material since September 2008?

Just you wait till Griffo sees this thread.

One more thing Griffo... There are some people having a good old laugh on this thread... http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=13657 Disgusting don't you think? Gloryfying violence... I suggest you get over to that thread and give 'em what for...

Don't take joy in anything, just simply stating that the OB went completely OTT at that game, and through their bad policing, they caused the situation. I wasn't even at the game though, thanks. :-) Just come to my opinion based on video footage and accounts of TSW members.

I am contemplating going down the 'smart price' route... although I cannot see any official confirmation of the Carling amnesty tent being there this year, so not sure it is worth the gamble?
-
The actions of the police caused the things to escalate in that game, just because the police f*cked up, I don't see why people should grass on other Saints fans and do the police's job for them. One thing of note, I notice a number of the pictures are people wearing Saints shirts, proof in itself that not wearing colours has f*ck all to do with being a 'hooligan' . That will no doubt upset a few people on here. Last question, how many teams have recieved points deductions for crowd trouble in recent years?

... anyone know who has the best beer deals? Looking to bulk buy for the IOW Festival, where is the best place for deals on crates of beer at the moment?
-
Don't worry, you're not on there mate!
-
Depends who they murdered.
-
Doubtful, he is already on a football banning order.
-
I know, we really could do without police at games, what a bunch of idiots indeed.
-
I know who 2 of them are, I shall not be saying a word though. SFC are supposed to stick together, are we not?
-
Andrew Lloyd Webber and/or Michael Tabor No need to thank me.
