... after giving away over 1000 tickets to local schools ( massive LOL ) , there are still over 4,500 ( FOUR THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED ) tickets left for Saturdays game against Bolton. Now, let's not forget that it is also 'kids for a quid' promotion is also on for this game. HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRDEEEEHAAAA!!! Ooooh, rallying cry from Peter Storrie can be found here... http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/index.php?cms_ref=news

Meh, I am an Army lad, dont listen to him.... this thread is amazing with a capital Z
-
... and Papa Waigo are best mates. Henri Camara is a free agent, Papa is his best mate... Anyone hoping for a Chala/Delgado reason for signing Waigo ( although I hope Papa is better than Chala )
-
What? Where were you for the last 2 seasons when it really mattered?
-
It's true though, I remember John Burridge having a really sh!t spell, we still loved him because he used to do cartwheels and walk on his hands in the warm-up. Bradley Wright-Phillips was sh!t, and we hated him until he robbed off some P*mpey sluts... then we loved him. Fickle bunch? Yes, yes we are.
-
Francis Benali was sh!t, we loved him because he looked like an arab. Papa Waigo might be sh!t, we will love him because he has a funny goal celebration.
-
Yes, but this links them all together into a thread about Papa Waigo, a chant, and a dance, and as it was started by me, it deserves a thread of it's own.
-
I cannot be at the game tommorow, so I entrust in you forumers to give Papa his own song... This one has dance moves too.... ( The Johny Viafara tune ) Do,Do,Do Do the Papa Waigo * Whilst doing the Papa Waigo dance. ( You can thank me later ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bnb_LvF1mkY

There will be a pre-determined price of which we can choose to buy him at, if we want. In other words, a fee will have been agreed.

The more I think of it, and the more I appreciate we are in league 1, the more I think what a fookin good signing he is.

To be fair Raymond, how would someone phoning you help you with your English? Surely an evening class would be more beneficial?

I have a live stadium guide site that I am STILL in the process of building, am quite happy to include a mini-****take site in there... I already have http://www.away supporters.co.uk/portsmouth so will upload that screenshot too!
-
I don't work at David Lloyd, I am a member there.
-
It is much better, to be fair. Your one looks like some spastic aid for people who dont have legs.
-
I have this one for sale £50, much better.

I am not saying that is how it works in the real world, but that is the reason Southend play on Friday nights.
-
lol how many heckles have we taken off Corpy for us doing kids for a quid for the smaller CHAMPIONSHIP games in our stadium with 12,000 more capacity. I would LOVE to hear how he is going to get out of this one!
-
Kids for a quid, in a 20,000 capacity stadium, for a Premiership game? Surely not? http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/index.php?cms_ref=tickets_news&qs_article_id=2757

I know there is an element of they like to play their games on Friday, as most people in Southend follow West Ham on Saturday but.... ... our game ( and Leeds game ) were scheduled for Saturday by Southend, but the police ordered them to be switched to Friday.
-
Didnt work last time, they tried to ban anyone from Southampton from every pub and club in Southend the evening of the game. 20 of us picked birds off the street and bought them a pint in return for them posing as our girlfriends in the nightclub queue. Genius.

We are a Cat C due to our youthful 'firm' , generally speaking nobody is stupid enough to get themselves nicked. As far as away support goes, ours is most definately one of the most rowdy in England, with a trend on getting hammerd at games, making weekends of it ( mainly due to our location ) etc etc... We have a very young and very drunk away following, and alot of younger 'casuals' , with the majority being under 25, it doesn't make us have the 'hardest' firm in the country, but it makes us one of the hardest to police. It is because of our 'young' away following that Southend was switched to try and make it harder for people to stay the weekend in Southend. All IMO of course.

With respect the 'filth' in Romsey that hang around the bus station etc have largely gone now. Let's not generalise things here though and try and mislead into people thinking the 'casual' element of SFC are just 'chavs' and 'jobless scum' etc... As with any football clubs casuals, there will be teachers, tradesmen, financial advisors, executives, senior managers etc etc. How many jobless scum do you know that can afford to go to every home game and most away games, spending thousands in the process.

I heard that a few Brentford gobsh!tes were walking back by the Alfred singing songs such as 'we are going to run you all over town' etc... they got to the Alfred and were accomodated by some of ours, who promptly chased them down the road, catching a few of the less fast ones with a few slaps on the way. Nothing really.
