Swindon 1 v Saints 0 Post-Match Reaction
StuRomseySaint replied to StuRomseySaint's topic in The Saints
Going to be a very slow start I think.... I still think 6th place is there, IF we sign at least 4 new players. Almost ready to start saying AP out WGS in already. -
Might as well get it in early. Hmmmm in the relegation zone I think, even without the -10! Woops
-
It probably could, difference is we have the money to make it happen.
-
Just to add..... Fulham sold out their allocation, just incase Corpy comes on here and trys to say that they didnt sell all their seats.
-
Well you would hope so, otherwise we will be facing another points deduction for match fixing.
-
lol, oh dear, I wonder what their excuses will be for this one... Oh, and Kamaras constant banging on about how 'quiet' Fratton is and how it has the atmosphere of a pre-season friendly also made me chuckle.
-
Schniederlin is probably the best playmaker we could hope for in this league. IMO what we need is a holding midfielder who will allow him more space. Lallana is completely over-rated IMO We also miss a pacy striker. In the same mould as Theo ( ableit not as good! )
-
.... is that it might persuade Mr Liebherr to dig a little bit deeper into his pockets. IMO we are a winger, striker, holding midfielder and CB short of being promotion contenders.
-
I think Ince or Batty might be a little bit too old to compete in this league.
-
I think you are forgetting.... a) We are in League 1 b) It's the Summer Holidays c) We are in the worst recession for years. 600 is a very good show.

2nd Round?!?!? There are only 40 teams in the cup. B*llocks. Locked. :-(

Hello, I am needing to convert a word document into a PDF, does anyone know decent freeware where this can be done? It is a 25 page school prospectus about 5mb in size and I cant find anywhere that can convert it. If anyone has any software, could I email it to you to convert? All for a good cause and all that, ;-) xxx

Only 12 points from the top with 45 games to go
StuRomseySaint replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
Basically, all we need to do is match what the top 6 do between now and Xmas, that will leave us around 10th at Xmas, if we can pick up a few extra points than the others, then we will sit 6 or 7 points away from the playoffs. If we are the 'top' team at Xmas, then we should already be in, or very near the play-offs. With Lambert, Patterson and Rasiak if he stays, we have 50 goals this season in the bag, I see no reason why play-offs should not be the very minimum expectations. -
Who else had Lambert tonight at 4-1 to score first
StuRomseySaint replied to dickyhale's topic in The Saints
I had Lambert first and 4-0 at 75-1 FFS -
Who do you think will win League 1
StuRomseySaint replied to The Fat Controller's topic in The Saints
Based on the most points gained - Southampton Who will actually win - MK Dons Where Saints will actually finish after the points deduction - 4th -
No Student Discounts
-
Nobody apart from children ( under 16 ) and senior citizens. People who are on benefits should have to pay double. Students should pay triple.
-
Best decision the new board have made so far.
-
1) Only 2 home midweek games. 2) No international break. 3) No breaks for FA Cup weekends when we have already been knocked out, unless the team we are playing are still in. Feel free to add yours, the less midweek games the better, didn't we have 7 last year?
-
Maybe it is just me being a mong, but I still can't find anything that says about the renewal price not being available after the deadline. Anyway, I will go for a half season ticket at Xmas as I should be back to a 9-5 job then.
-
After much changing my mind, I gave in today and phoned up to sort out my season ticket, only to be told that... a) I had to pay full price.... although I have not seen anywhere that STH's had until August 1st to take advantage of the lower fee, only that they had until then to secure their seats ( maybe they should have been a bit clearer??? ) b) The 'installment' option does not start from when you buy, if you buy now, they want £140 upfront instead of the usual £70ish I doubt I am the only STH that is going to phone up this week to renew and be shocked at being asked to purchase a 'new' ST, anyway, in short, because my work means that I cannot attend about 40% of games, I didn't buy one, instead will pay as I go.

Is that what happened to you last time you were in Brighton, you fag?
