My two lads have bought me a ticket, for my 25th wedding aniversary , wife is not impressed. So ground number 63 in supporting Saints, strange thing is atleast 10 of the 63 no longer exist

Are those who could invest the biggest traitors?

Have already paid more to the club over the years than some of the controlling group have put in -
Will not be this season because season ticket holders are counted whether they go or not, but next season is a possibilty

The problem with your argument is that the fans and people of Southampton feel like i do and not like the great intellectual you obviously are, hence attendances are falling, lowe is despised and a devisve influence The players can look in as many mirrors as they like but the fact is they are not good enough and have been sold up the river by certain shareholders who want to run a football club on the cheap. Another thread talked about the difference between us and Hull , biggest differnce is there shareholders put their hands in their pocket and put more money in, we have been under capitalised since the reverse takeover, in fact many of ruperts little group never paid a penny for their investment. -

SO everything is smelling of roses in your garden then -
Whilst i believe KD has been our best player this season, his biggest weakness is his height or lack of it. Since he arrived at SMS we have been open at corners, long throws and other set plays
-
Agreed with all your comparisons but they are internal, we do not match up well with other CCC teams. Maybe the ball should go away at training for a week and the weights come out
-
it is but where is the physical strength, watching the Sheffield derby we just lack physical players to compete
-
we appointed Pearson and had Lucketti. neither would get a look in on our brave new world

virtual "reality"

he trusted in old donkeys like Windass and Barmby , not something we are prepared to do
-
slash my wrists , because it does not matter how much you shuffle the players, some are just not good enough

I think you miss my point Why do not the existing Shareholders invest more as other businesses do when they are short of funds. Say the top 10 shareholders put in £300k each, to help us acquire some experienced players to help the youngsters. Will not happen because at least half of them have never paid a penny for their current shareholdings -

What i do not understand is that any other PLC the shareholders would be asked to fund a shortfall by rights issue or let the business go bust. But SLH are asking the customer to fund their **** ups. Another example of being a PLC in name only -
Injuries have not helped but we jumped on the Svensson is back to quick as away to save money, it is hard to believe his fitness for a season was assessed. In any other PLC THE SHAREHOLDERS would be asked to fund shortfalls by rights issues etc, not expect the customer to fund shortfalls created by PLC management errors

exactly right, people forget that youngsters in the past fought their way into established sides they had to be good enough. These lads are picked because of an experiment based on one mans ego, he had a choice but rupert knows best.

Would this current Saints side survive in league 1?

exactly it is the arrogance that flows from the top, afterall we did really well against Rotherham -
MY PASSION has been replaced by Anger. Anger at this experiment , i just do not accept that we could not have bought in some experience defenders pre season at a reasonable cost who could have HELPED 5/6 youngsters in the team. I am anger at those who think our CURRENT academy crop are good enough, we produce footballing midgets who are in danger of having their careers ruined by being overplayed. These are not Shearers, Wallaces, even Benalis or Maddisons who forced there way into established sides, these are young men that have been dropped in it because of one mans ego, not because they are ALL good enough

who said it was easier, it was that arrogance which said we would walk the CCC. -
Letting SAGA/DAVIES GO! Is it our biggest mistake?
