all those CBs and no one goes near Ings. Woeful. The tactical change has made us worse.
-
this. Its the little things that add up. Fuck me. Should be four.
-
yeah. Fair point. We've been playing well, but unlike a City or whoever, we can't win games like this if we are not at our very best. Just need a chance and we can turn the game on its head
-
For Eli. We needed to change something. Lets see if this this works.
-
I see. Tino just ain't as good. Not the reason we are losing, but these little things all add up. Everyone needs to up their game. Only Armstrong impressed me first half.
-
disappointing at both ends. We ain't been good enough in the final third, not enough pressure on the ball in midfield and collectively not defended well at all. When a side puts under pressure some of these `great' players haven't been good enough (first touch etc.). Game is not over. Need some sort of tactical change though.
-
our midfield and forwards haven't done their jobs either.
-
Why is KWP not playing? Is he injured? Villa have just been better. Believing our own hype?
-
they could easily be five up. Carved us open. Bednerek MUST win that header, but doesn't. Lightweight at CB
-
Armstrong is relentless and his energy has got us into this game. We need to do better in final third. Can't beat all these bodies.

got to do better there. Great opportunity, but Eli and others just not doing enough. Good chance for Adams too. Better from us.
-
might need bypass the midfield now and then and ping it straight up to the strikers. Although when we have done that it hasn't stuck.
-
Wish Stephens had got as tight to Watkins as their midfield are getting to us. Struggling to build from the back.
-
and Villa seem to be set up well against us.

Broja just waltzed past the full back there, just couldn't pick anyone out.
-
how is that a foul. Fuck off ref.
-
He turned. Stephens didn't. Not nearly sharp enough. For me, Stephens has looked sluggish this season compared to previous. He looks like he has lost half a yard of pace.
-
When Stephens' ability to get tight, turn quickly and prevent the chance is actually tested, he fails the test. Salisu is a major loss. Not sure why KWP hasn't started too. Our best form is with him in the side ahead of Livramento. Is he injured?

best we can hope for is wining it in normal time. City do lose games now and then. Not often I grant you, but it is possible. Palace have beaten them a couple of times, generally with a backs against the wall kind of display, but with exceptional stuff on the break and high quality strikes. Realistically the odds are against, no doubt about it, but no point thinking like that. We can and will win. Enjoy the ride.

Hmm. That wasn't my first reaction. I really don't think Pep fears anyone. Only Liverpool and Chelsea (and sometimes Spurs) have got the better of them in recent times. I'd of thought if they were draw against either of them he'd still see it as a great opportunity to show his side is the best. We've done well against them, but they could easily have won both games.
-
I think we will win. I think we will win the whole damn thing.
-
agreed. Beat them and get a nice winnable game in the final...

ballbags. Someone tell me the game is in the middle of a CL tie
