Cheers. When you say injury may scupper the deal back to Portugal, what do you mean? He's now fit and playing.
-
I assume its a loan because that enables Bournemouth to pay the lions share of his wages over that period?
-
is that the same Sisto that is being kept out of the Celta Viga side by Boufal?
-
played well last night and thats not something I say lightly. 10 mean behind the ball will have helped as it reduced the space he needed to cover, but he but himself about and retained possession well.
-
really enjoyed watching him play for us and wish him all the best. He played a crucial role in some of our best sides. Brilliant first touch and work rate to match. We seem to have found a natural replacement in Armstrong that offers us the legs Davis doesn't quite have anymore.

good description. a bit too casual and needs to sharpen up. Not sure he has Shaw's pace or is as comfortable in possession. It's essential our youth system develops players, so fingers crossed he can shine as it makes a big difference financially to have young players (on lower wages) in the first team.

He's been steady. He doesn't have genuine pace which is a concern long term. He does offer a physical presence that Cedric hasn't and he looks pretty comfortable on the ball, though not as good as Cedric. Going forward he hasn't done a lot yet, but perhaps he has been asked to not bomb on too much. Also, as he gains confidence he might start to add a little more attacking threat. He doesn't seem to be high energy. Perhaps that's down to his running style - he glides rather than pumping his arms etc. but he certainly needs to impose himself. The rash challenges to gain his yellow cards have at least shown he is willing to put himself about. He hasn't been terribly exposed defensively, especially as we have played 5 at the back. His positioning has been OK, but his distances need refining. There is a lot of room for improvement. Hopefully he can do that.

just a bit more detail for those that are interested: first four games he was on the bench and was brought on in each game, scoring in the fourth. started the fifth game, played 70 minutes but got injured, missed the next game, then was an unused sub in game after. Came on in the week 7 game for last 20 minutes, scoring. He started the next 4 games, but came off after 74, 81, 45 and 63 minutes. Came on for last half hour in week 13 game. Started next four games, subbed after 63, 66, 71 and 76 minutes.

We need more threat going forward from our wing backs. Valery and Target or Cedric on the wrong side don't cut the mustard at all. Romeu runs out of steam at around 65 minutes, so Hoj would have been handy even off the bench.
-
he did **** all in the first half, giving the ball away a few times, so might hve been tactical
-
Fulham Cardiff and Huddersfield are the three worst teams, but I guess that doesn't necessarily mean they will be relegated.
-
yeah I'm with you, his laid back approach unnerves me, but at the same time, get too tight and Hazard skips past you.
-
I thought he got better as the game went on. He doesn't seem to have much zip, and thus looks casual, but he is physically strong and comfortable on the ball.
-
Great defensive display. Pretty woeful going forward. Loved Armstrong's running. He gives everything and was our only out ball. Romeu ran himself into the ground. Not having an option from the bench almost cost us. JWP had a greta game. He put himself about a lot more than I have seen for some time. Chelsea were quite slow and ponderous, which helped.
-
Long has no idea. How has this guy made a living a the top level.
-
Redmond not doing enough for me. Who we got on the bench?
-
Romeu tired and not closing that down. Need a substitute in the middle
-
almost caught from our own attacking set piece again.
-
Romeu looks tired to me.
-
great play that by JWP. Real composure. Playing well.
-
Moss you ****. Get them back ten yards......****
-
laughable effort thats for sure.
-
tired touch from Armstrong. He's put a proper shift in so far.
-
longer it goes on the more tired we will be. All this chasing and no ball retention catches up with you. Need to use the subs very wisely and the defenders need to out a shift in rather than sit back. the midfield cant run forever
-
midges perhaps?
