currently on Norwich's bench...so that move could have legs

Not a great fan of Magala, but we really could do with someone with his physical attributes at the back. Where you gain in that department you will lose in terms of quality of distribution. Perhaps a side like ours could afford to give up a little in that area in favour of someone that can actually win a header
-
how on earth do they know that?
-
yeah. Personally I think the deal is all done and dusted, it's just the final editing of the unveil video that's taking longer than expected. Maybe Promes didn't like the drawn version of himself and it had to be reworked.
-
personally I think Deulofeu is average. He struggled to get in the Everton side, was lightweight and didn't offer anywhere near enough quality. I was amazed Barca brought him back into the fold, but after a quick look they quite clearly have seen he ain't all that.
-
he will have to score 28 prem goals in 75 games to be on par, never mind offering a similar all round game...
-
no.

I'm assuming that social media platform is specifically for live posting rather than for any pre-recorded material?

What a very good idea. At some point we (and other premiership clubs) are going to have to bite the bullet like Man City have done in the past and pay a serious chunk of a players wages to get them out of here. Oh and if Dembele is not thew man then lets get Tierney down here. He can play left back and centre back.

We've only a few days until the window closes, so if a transfer is a possibility then he'd be in the UK now ready to do the medical. Being here, you'd go to the game, arriving very late to go unnoticed.
-
if we had top draw attackers that put the ball in the back of the net, then all the criticism of tactics and substitutions just wouldn't exist...but we simply don't that quality in the final third. Havent had it for a long time now...

Thanks SJ. Its getting tiring reading how MP made a mistake with this sub or that. Its very easy with 20:20 hindsight to know what to do. Although this sub seemed to have a negative impact, it helped get the job done. If he hadn't made it and they scored you can bet your bottom dollar the same fans moaning on here about that swap, would be moaning at him for not bringing a defender on and not learning his lesson of two weeks ago.

strikes me, that you are just looking for things to attack MP with. Davis had a shocker last week. Hoj was playing quite far forward, so it made sense to give Boufal his head and try and win the game. A very good Spurs block at the end and he would have done exactly that. Well played Saints. Really glad we got a point as Spurs have some real quality up front.

I'm always very interested to read posts from people that know more than I about our finances. Can you provide a little more information here. Interesting subject. From the naked eye it looks as though we have sold players and then spent the money on others, plus gave higher wages to those that remained. The previous owner continually put money into the club and was paid relative peanuts for those loans. She sold up to someone else. She didn't take money out of the club at that point, she took money directly from another buyer. She left that new buyer with a £75M saleable asset. Are you suggesting Gao is asset stripping now? You may be right, but it seems a little early to make that judgement.

Has Les failed if the club make a valuation on a player and then offers that amount only to be turned down? Failed to sign him yes, but failed? If you value a player and then only get the player by paying twice as much (thereby reducing the funds to spend elsewhere) is that really success for a director? Just asking...

equally interesting. As for the OP, I posted this on the other thread, but sod it, I will post here too. Protesting because the team isn't playing well? Sigh. Jesus, suck it up. It's football FFS. Take the pain. We've had plenty of fun over the last five or six years. We're five minutes past a Wembley final and for some, a once in a lifetime experience watching Saints in Milan. Moan. Boo at the end after a poor display, even write something nasty on your own ****ter account...but protesting is for when the board want to change the clubs name to Hampshire FC or the Chairman is paying himself £17m a year whilst giving the manager tuppence to spend...or is he doing that...better check those accounts carefully next year!
-
any big sales since then? Are there any top top players left over there?
-
yep. Should be working 24 hours a day on bringing in a new striker that won't be fed.
-
Not saying I like it, but what exactly can he do to prevent that? He doesn't have any say over his sons choice of player to represent. Should he have asked his son not to represent Saints players? What if he represents a player at another club that we happen to become interested in? It's all very messy. it terms of positives and negatives. Perhaps his son's client's are treated favourably, but equally, perhaps he has more chance of convincing his son's clients to stay at the club.

bring back the bloke who got the Skacel deal over the line.

I don't think protests work/I'm not interested in them.

Has the money not left Russian football since then and thus they are in a slightly less strong position? I'm asking, not telling.
-
what's he proved though? In all fairness it was a tough gig fitting into that Leicester team. Maybe he will prosper elsewhere, but I am not sure he is proven. He's played.
