  1. I thought FFP had been officially relaxed or in other words stopped?
  2. Who exactly is head scout at Man City? Have they actually signed anyone that has been value for money and or improved them since Aguero in 2011?
  3. Does a one in four (one in 5.5 at saints) striker keep a club up?
  4. I think the club said that we had tried to sign him before, whether that is true or not who knows, but that would suggest it wasn't a panic signing, but the price certainly was. Very average player. There are so many of them in the premiership. Those saying it isn't their money so why worry, we'll that extra £4m spent could have gone towards another player, maybe a star youngster or two, or perhaps even offering fans extremely cheap season tickets or subsidised away tickets, so that's why fans are interested in transfer fees and potentially wasted transfer money.
  5. Their average crowd (last season) was 15k, the average crowd for the rest of the division 4k, and their season ticket price of £320, is the 6th highest in the division.
  6. I know some united fans are giving their club some stick for missing out on one or two signings, but no one can compete with Spurs in terms of attempting to sign players but failing to do so. I'm not just talking about Morgan, I'm talking about 20 years of being linked with big players, perhaps offering peanuts and the player going elsewhere. This will be another.
  7. If he was a championship player would we be looking to snap him up? He has such a lot of improving to do before he runs a game and in the end that's what a midfielder needs to be able, to do. Hopefully he will get there in the end, but we were going to have to be patient. His slowness around the pitch worries me.
  8. You think Stek is better than Forster?
  9. Why on earth did we buy Martina if he is not good enough to come in for this type,of game? Why did we give Rodriguez a five year deal before he proved he could get back to his best?
  10. Meh, personally I'd prefer to see us get through and perhaps draw that once in a lifetime side away from home. This is as good a it will get. Enjoy it not wish it away.
  11. Forster, Pelle, Tadic and Bertrand all hit the ground running, the new signings this time round haven't impressed. Long way to go, but squad players were not required yet that is what we appear to have accumulated to date.
  12. This. I keep, reading the link between attack and defence is not there, but isn't this what Juanmi is supposed to offer? If RK has lost faith in him already that is worrying. Or,is he merely injured?
  13. Tadic is played on the wrong side, doesn't or can't shoot and has faded since the bright start last season. Long isn't a wide man and is very average full stop in my opinion. JRod has yet to show that he can make it back to where he was. Juanmi can't get in the side when we are desperate for an attacking midfielder to link it all together. JWP and Davis are neat and tidy but don't run a game from the `in-the-hole' position they sometimes fill. Neither can play out wide. Elia started brightly, looks to have pace and a trick, but by and large did very little just justify a full transfer. Do you think he would have improved given a long run in the side. He's not a nipper.
  14. I give you John O'Shea, 393 games for Manchester United, arguably THE best side in the country, and total ****e.
  15. Yeah, I don't see any stripe thing at all, just simply an https page who you input your credit card details.
  16. Has anyone renewed since they stopped allowing payments via paypal? I'm nervous about providing credit card details.
  17. is he actually any good/worth that sort of wedge? I don't watch Spanish league games and I've only ever seen him come on as a sub for Barca in the CL games, which is not surprising considering the talent they have as first choice. When he comes on he runs around a lot and quite quickly too, scoring the odd goal, but usually when opponents have been totally crushed by Messi et al. He reminds me more of Navas than a Sanchez in terms of quality - am I mistaken? Feels a little desperate from Chelsea and United and not a signing that is going to bring them closer to CL success. I'd of thought LVG might be tempted to try and sign Ibrahimavic. Van Gaal has aid he is only there short term and Zlatan is very much a short term option (due to his age) that would lead the line well, allowing Rooney to flutter around in the number ten position. I see Derby are trying to sign one of my favourite Saints players of all time Antonio. Can't see that ever happening.
  18. Attendance was 18,000 at Vitoria Guimaraes, with 3000 skates travelling according to the skate news
  19. plus they are on a longish term contract. Everton hold all the cards.
  20. RK doesn't seem to have a huge amount of confidence in him. I would go as far to say that he has less confidence in him then the vast majority of fans who have seen the benefit of his chasing and harassing. A loan would be good for him, but Clasie's fitness will probably determine when we consider it a viable option as we still need him to provide cover.
  21. he seems to make a habit if doing it to us though. Unplayable on his day. Wish he'd pick a different day
  22. You certainly can't have too many good goalscorers in this league. They can make average teams look good. If Pelle gets injured he'd be a great replacement, but can we afford to have one sitting on the bench when other positions look short? Mind you we only have Long and Rodriguez to come in currently and both have failed to shine in a one up front system. Maybe if Pelle does get injured we consider a different system rather than chucking one of those two into one that doesn't suit.
  23. blimey. So about 7500 tickets will be available then. Hope we get to moan about that at some point...
  24. One thing is for sure, clubs would starve if they relied upon the skates academy to feed them.
  25. Gulp.
