No it does not, players know sod all. 100% penalty. I would have given that on a Sunday morning, in the youth league.
-
1st penalty shout, no pen, the 2nd one penalty!
-
Wow that was close to a second. What happens in that case, if the ball was over the line, does a team contest it straight away? What happens if play continues?
-
Get yourself ready for identical defending errors in 90 seconds!

Cannot wait, seen that game in full. Just the take on the other games as well. What a goal by Silva! Wow!

I posted this before a few months back and it was quite entertaining to see the opinions of the football for the day! For those of us without Sky!! Looking forward to this one!

Last week, like most weeks, I got really depressed listening to most the people on here moaning on the match thread and then moan about god knows what. This unfortunately has become a bit of a permanent fixture over the season, as I cannot really afford the money to go, when we are taking on extra work just to get by. I have expected that I cannot go and this is how it is going to be for now. Then last Sunday evening, I get a text asking if I want to go to the Norwich game as my friends dad was away. Also as he knew that I am a little broke at the moment, mentioned that it would be free. So brilliant just a tank of petrol required instead, makes it half the price it would normally be. So I have had a great day today that would not have happened, if it was not for a very thoughtful friend. I have managed to watch the mighty Saints dominate then try and throw a match away, only to wrap it up. Have lunch shouted for me by fore mentioned friend. I have taken all my children to see their auntie on the same trip. Seen my mother and her really nice new house. All 3 kids have been great in the car journey and my wife got to have a day to herself and then an evening out with her best friend. All this happened because of a text last Sunday. I have to say I really appreciate this, but really do not think he realises just how much! Just thought I would share this as it really has made me week, as my last Saints game was Wigan away a year ago!!! This has not been easy for me at all and I think my friend realised this.

Great first 20 minutes, then their heads went up a little after we tried to gift them a goal. 20 minutes to half time were scrappy. 2nd half we controlled up to 84 minutes. Then it all went a little wrong. Only for one of their players to slip to let us in for the 4th. All through the game there were mistakes at the back by both sides and boruc took it upon himself to take up picking our row x with all his kick! Crazy man. We were so in control and for a team fighting for their lives at the bottom, I just did not see it. All in all, great day!

Don't like Hull, want them to go down. Boring!

I have some in my house that I bought for a sunny day one weekend last summer, that did not happen.

England player to become first openly gay footballer?
Dr Who? replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Lounge
Good for them. Who was it out of interest? -
It is at the quarter final stage where supports start to smell Wembley and then a cup final. Before this it is very expensive to go to all the rounds. Even more so when your team does not turn up!
-
Who do I want to go down is completely different Down Hull City Sunderland Cardiff Up Derby forest and Reading.
-
Now the game is on, I am even more annoyed. Would have tried to go to this one if it was Saints. This fixture though has a 0-0 or 0-1/1-0 sound to it.

Can see Man U getting it together and maybe running off with 6th of even getting 5th off spurs. But as it stands this evening we have a chance, but will also depend on the Everton games in hand.
-
Everton looked tired today. My worry is the form of Newcastle and Man U seem to be finishing strong. Until there is not enough points left, I will keep a positive mind. The season is still alive.
-
Can I ask why 7th is not out of reach but not top 6, when 7th and 6th place have the same points?
-
No matter how unlikely it is, looking at the fixtures and the table why not.......
-
Now the way I see it, is that 3 home games hold the key to the top 6. If we can beat Newcastle, Everton and Man Utd at home, we still have a chance to finish in the top 6, but I see these 3 as must win! Of course we will have to beat others as well, but lose to 1 or more of these 3 it is over for IMHO.

Post Match Reaction: Crystal Palace 0-1 SAINTS
Dr Who? replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
Great win, I was stuck in the cinema checking the score! Could get very interesting if we can beat Norwich! -
See that soccer Saturday are trying to undermine the Saints players from the England game, by saying that the Denmark team would be tired when they came on, so they would look good and that nothing was learnt by the game.
-
Yep, stilled peed off!
-
No I am not looking for a ticket.
-
Were gonna win the league!
