  1. Now with Metallica playing the whole of the black album and Biffy Clyro on the Saturday, I am tempted to go! I live 15 minutes from knebworth though, so might wait and see the line up for that this year as well, as I have been to every year. What festivals are you lot going to this year, and what is your history of going to them.
  2. Whoops.... Maybe the album of 2012!
  3. Maccabees is great.... Shame they only got no4 in the charts.
  4. Gridlock - Ben Elton. It is ok but seems very dated already.
  5. Looking forward to watching the new mad dogs. Loved the first series, all sky + ready for tonight!
  6. Let's hope we can make at least a year as no1 team?
  7. No not really, there look, tumbleweed
  8. Yes this was a painful cry, not your normal. We leave him to settle himself, like we did the girls. If he cries we leave him for 10 minutes, if it carries on we go to him, as there is a problem. Once he works out the time is always 10 minutes, we will add on some stoppage time!
  9. Yep, got colic, but we have some stuff to put in his milk. Think the problem last night was needing to poo, but nothing coming. Tries warmer milk, and water, and even di the cycle movement with the legs, but still nothing!
  10. Yes I do, but we take it in turns.
  11. Along the lines of music downloads, I cannot see the need for books in a few years time. Yes you will have the hardened book reader that will not move from the book as they 'like the feel of a book in heir hand'. Overall I can see the 4 bookcases in our house being reduced year on year and having space for other furniture, along with the Cd holder. My wife (English teacher) argued the case that they do not really have anything for eduction, and have not nailed that yet, so books for these purposes will be required. The last night I fine the below article. http://gadgetbox.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/01/19/10189773-apple-announces-ibooks-2-ibooks-author-and-new-itunes-u The way things are going we will not require, bookcases & cd/DVD storage as it will all be on a device iPad deluxe 10 or something. How do you see the book world going, will people not read books in 10/20 years time, as lets face it, people do not use ledgers in big book form, or order books on paper anymore. You do not see people using an abacus, as everything like this is on a computer now. Why would it be any different for books, films and music?
  12. The guy needs serious help!

    Hmv

Was talking about tis yesterday, and how they are making the move back to stocking move vinyl. I believe this is brave but the correct move. Most people are now downloading, not buying CD's, but the vinyl sales are up. More people want to download as it is easy, but also are owing ack to buying vinyl for music of bands they really want. I would start buying vinyl for bands I really want and continue to download for the iPhone. I think this is a good mix. Only time will tell if it is enough for HMV though, or though it could be good for the independent record store! They might need to produce some more record players though!
  14. Swaddle, it worked for the last 2, but this one hated it, as he loves to have his hands free! How are you? Still up the road in Melbourn? We are in Royston near Tesco now.
  15. Lambert is going nowhere, well even if a premier league team came in, I think he would stick it out and try and live the dream in a Saints shirt. If we do not get promoted then he may well leave. West Ham are playing the **** or bust game, but will go up, I have no doubt at all about this.
  16. Just remembered it. Come on come on, come on come, come on come on come on.....Oxford. Pretty rubbish really, but remember at the time it sounded quite good, as we were losing at the old Manor Ground!
  17. I remember back in the midto late 90's football fans singing one of his songs. Cannot remember which one it was, but remember Oxford fans singing it.... Kind of stopped after 1999.
  18. It is sad to see any club go, but it is the smaller clubs that go far to easy. There needs to be some support structure, but then the balance needs to be right, or clubs will take the pee. It is harder to get an interested party in a non league club. Look how hard it was for a so called premier league club (at the time) to get a buyer!!
  19. Really was hoping that one of them was not going to be a player!
  20. On sky sports news he did not give much away, apart from we are of course interested. I do not think we will get him, as he is an important part of the Celtic team. If I was as fan of Celtic and we lost our star striker to an English championship side I would not be happy. Even though we are probably on par with them on a football pitch, as a club they are much bigger, it just gives out all the wrong signals to there fans and the football world,
  21. Not at all, as a sports fan it is 100% right to laugh at that and any other video of a losing fan crying..... Unless it is your own. I have been a SF fan since back in the 80's and my best mate was a dolphins fan. We both used to play for Britannia royals, back in the boom years of American football, when it was on channell 4! Could go either way now, but when the giants are on a role they are a tough team to stop!
  22. Hmm, was going on recent history.... Batting line up not on form! Well let's start again?
  23. Slapper
  24. Yep this works with my 3 year old! :-)
  25. We have a routine and stick to it. The last two have worked out fine on it. During the day as much noise and light as possible, so carry on as normal. The bath at the same time every night, change into night clothes, dim the lights, and quiet and a big feed. Then down to sleep. We would not break this for anything. As I said the other 2 were sleeping through the night from 2 months and 5 months. 8.30-06.30. Then after a year we changed it slightly to make it gradually earlier.
