Saints vs Manchester Utd - 4th Round FA Cup Draw
Dr Who? replied to saint_bert's topic in The Saints
Leeds beat Man U at OT last season and then their league season came of track and they only just managed to scrape up! -
I still think we could be playing Blackpool in the league again next season.
-
I am looking forward to Oldham away more than the Man U game. I really am not interested in tHE FA Cup when all I want is out of this league. I havw seen us spank Man U and also beat them on a number of occasions, and have seen us the last few times get battered by them. Even though I have been TO Ot probably more times than most Man U fans, I would have tried to get a ticket for an away game against them as my wife has never been to OT. Don't get me wrong it is good to win, and to beat premier league teams, but if we go out I will not be upset, but if we do not go up, I will be. COYS!!
-
Take it there will be plenty of tickets on the night.
-
Would love Steveage as it is just down the road, or Arsenal away, as I have never been to their new ground.
-
Well we need to keep winning as Bournemouth and Brighton seem to be keeping up the pace. Come on Saints please keep winning lets get past our club record of 6 straight wins!
-
We will soon be back above them, and he will be long gone. every game where a lower league team are beating a top flight club they sing that song!! He had a go at us before when he was in charge of another of his clubs that we beat!
-
Would you prefer a Blackpool win to a replay?

League has to be the main aim, I have said it before 'I wish we did not have a cup game today'. -
This is fantastic news and send a message out to other clubs in our league and all over England/Wales! We are going up said we are going up!!

Have any of you used rubber to enhance performance?

The celebs wear them, and the kids buy them as well. You could do it with almost anything. Nose strips included. Teams Like Man U, Arsenal, and Barca could say right we are going to wear a peg on our ear during games, and it would stread to the kids.... apart from referee's would make them take it off! Do you remember dummies about 8/9 years ago, players and other celebs used to suck on them in public and it then hit all the clubs!! MADNESS -
Alpine, as it is on the 5th test thread.
-
Very quiet and detached from the play. Not good for creating noise at all.
-
Brighton have the best home record in out league and the smallest crowds.
-
You lazy ****!
-
****ing rain... oh well only need the draw.
-
Right I want this all over by 1am so I can go to bed. A series win in Oz fantastic what a day today/tomorrow is going to be!
-
I will ignore this one and just hope that it never come up in my life!!!
-
Agreed, and if we picked up a couple of injuries in this game, say Lallana, and Chaplow how would you feel then? I want out the compitition and have not been interested in it at all this season. I am off to referee a Kershaw Premier League instead.

How old is he? You can swear in a joking way and I do all the time as it is all in the tone.

Sex is never going to happen, but when she is older and if she has a relationship I will let them sleep together under my roof, but again better than her sneaking behind my back with something she is going to want to do, no matter how much I do not want my little girl to grow up, she is going to.
-
Oh yes start her on the hard stuff lol. When I talk about drugs I am talking weed mainly.... I would not encourage the hard stuff, but I will talk to her and explain all drugs to her.

My daughter is 9, and has been a quite a few Saints games, at which many Saints fans and myself swear my head off and get very angry. I have told her that in the football ground it is fine for adults, but she must not repeat any of it outside the ground, and she does not say any of it at all. Now she is 9, but when she gets a little older, I will not be to bothered about her swearing at all, but if she ever swears at school, at a teacher, or in front of any of the family then I would not allow it. I think people get to worked up about the wrong things. Swearing, drinking and drugs seem to be top of the agenda when it comes to children. Now I have done all of these things and still do. The main reason in my early teens from 14 onwards I used to drink until I passed out, smoked enough puff until I ate the whole of the biscuit section of Safeway or the local garage and sweared as much as I could (mostly at football) was because my dad used to go on and on in a very serious way that I should not do these things. My dad was an ex copper (rest his soul) and I was scared of him, but used to rebel against him too. I would go as far as encouraging my daughter to drink with us, and to even try drugs when she is a little older 15/16 but at the house. Come on most kids are going to do it anyway at some point so I would be prefer to be the one to tell her about it than a spotty 14/15 year old guy at a party!!

If they field a weakened team on Saturday we will win the game with our first team, i have no doubt. I also think they will start sliding down the league. Could even play them again next season....... but I said the same about the skates!

Series is in the bag!
