No online sales for "2nd period" Wembley tickets!!
Michelle replied to Macey_J2's topic in The Saints
Ha, funny. I just appreciate them for what they do, despite the **** they get thrown at them sometimes - they're in a very similar position to me and my staff in the industry we're in. I've also had a lot of communications with them, and in particular David Luker, over the years through being involved in various supporters groups, and always found them helpful and courteous. Just saying it as I see it. As I mentioned elsewhere, people are quick to complain, but not so forthcoming when praise is due. Nobody is perfect, and no system will ever be perfect, but that's just life I'm afraid, and people just need to get over it. -
No online sales for "2nd period" Wembley tickets!!

Yawn, here we go again. If you couldn't be arsed to read the instructions, you only have yourself to blame. If you couldn't be arsed to send a letter (which, incidentally, has happened several times over the last few years, including Cardiff in 2003!) then you only have yourself to blame. Some people seriously need to look at the real reasons they can't get what they want, rather than just moaning that it's everyone else's fault. Rant over. -
I meant in Chester, as that's where we'll be Sat night!

http://www.pfcfinancialservices.co.uk/home/ lollage. They can't even look after their own finances. Would you trust them with yours!?
-
How do you keep finding all this random ****!? I like watercress. HTH.

Handed mine in at the ticket office Monday morning, showing on my online account on Tuesday night, and was processed on my credit card on Wednesday lunchtime (following phonecall from the ticket office).
-
Handed mine in first thing Monday morning rather than actually posting it, had it processed last night. The only way you can check before actually receiving the tickets is to keep an eye on your bank account/credit card statement, or check your online account, which has an order history on it. Never yet had a postal application fail me, and I still have one outstanding for my friends who are entitled to Wembley tickets from Monday. As far as your friend's customer number goes, call the ticket office. Name and postcode should be enough for them tobe able to confirm it.

Wishful thinking there!

When there's the potential of around 15,000 sales, virtually all of which in the postal bracket are going to have to be contacted as their chosen pricing brackets/blocks have already sold out, yes, I think it could take a while. Dunno why everyone is stressing anyway, it's not like we're short of time to sell them, and we haven't even begun to start thinking about despatching tickets yet. Why put the staff under unnecessary pressure to process that sort of volume of sales in such a short time period?
-
You appear to be underestimating the size of our customer base compared to Carlisle's. I guarantee you if Carlisle's was anywhere near the size of ours, they would be allowing less tickets per season ticket, and allowing themselves longer to process purchases in each sales period.

Five of us staying on the Saturday night, any recommendations for a decent meal/night out, bearing in mind I need somewhere to celebrate my birthday weekend!?
-
Totally agree Stu, any time I've had to contact him it's always been met with a prompt response and solution - well, apart from the time this season I was stuck outside Elland Road at kick-off without a ticket to collect, but hey, nobody's perfect, are they? (And that issue got sorted first thing on the Monday morning, so despite the inconvenience on matchday, everything was rectified as soon as possible afterwards!)

Seeing as there seem to be an awful lot of whinging and whining at the moment, thought I'd be one of the few to share some positive views of the guys and gals working their backsides off at the moment to get all our Wembley tickets sorted. I handed in a postal application for 32 ticket on Monday morning, by Tuesday evening the season ticket element of those (24) had been processed. Minor ****-up today, as I had a call saying my payment had been declined. Turns out they'd tried to charge the whole application to my friends card, when he was only paying for four, and I was paying for the rest. They went back off to investigate it, promising us a call back, which we missed. E-mailed David Luker explaining the situation, he got on the case straight away, and within three minutes of my e-mail being sent, I'd had a return call saying it had all been sorted, and the appropriate cards correctly charged. Now if that's not superb customer service, I don't know what is. People are very quick to criticise, but it's not so often praise is mentioned, and their efforts recognised. Ticket Office staff - we know you're snowed under at the moment, keep up the good work, and ignore those who just wanna have a whinge!
-
Err, no. Just do a postal application.
-
High ticket prices? A lot of people paid more for the '03 cup final than the highest priced ticket for the JPT Final! I'd expected them to be a bit more than they are, so I for one was quite pleasantly surprised when the ticket details were announced.
-
lol, I'm a pleb. Anyone think I should offer to be his PA?
-
That'll be because you're not entitled to one yet. HTH.
-
lol, don't work there (though nearly did a few years back) - just have been quite involved in various things in the past. Not sure to be honest, in previous times when there have been postal applications/pre-registration, when your order has been processed it'll show up on your online sales history. My application for 32 went in this morning, nothing on my history as yet. Keep an eye on that or your credit/debit card account for the money to be debited! Saying that, if 50% of bookings have come from telephone sales, and 29% from online sales, the other 21% can only be from postal, so seems like a chunk of them have gone through today.
-
Yep, all £58 and most £44 have already sold out.
-
Two words: Online sales.
-
Yeah, just pay the difference at the ticket office. They'll give you a match ticket, and retain the season ticket during the game. That's the official answer, anyway.
-
Sales at 5pm currently stand at 9,500.

Golden Posts, anyone?
