I think that's more to do with the Echo's way of life than Dan's writing style. I've noticed it quite a lot in the Echo, and newspapers in general.

Wii - Formula 1. Had it for ages, hubby has been playing it, finally got around to trying it out t'other day. Sure takes some getting used to! DS - Lego Rock Band, New Super Mario Bros., Mario Kart. Got a stack load of games for my birthday, gradually working my way through trying them all out, but enjoying those three the most so far.

Really? Don't recall this - remember you organising it though. Who did you speak to? For the record, a number of TSA people didn't go on to partake in the Saints Trust, me included. Went to the initial meeting, and that was my lot, couldn't be doing with it, and never joined either.

I actually bought some games out in HK to use with my Wii as I was going to mod it. Never got around to it, can't be bothered, and still have the games. Least they were cheap!

I have one, haven't played it for donkeys though. Got a stack of games I wanna get shot of, so wondering if anyone still plays one, and what the chances are of actually getting anything for them!? Still got a Mega Drive around somewhere too I believe! Used to hammer my PSP quite a bit, got a DSi now which I play a lot more, and have the trusty Wii. I was never that keen on Nintendo consoles. Was always Sega, then Sony. Strange how times have changed!

Along those lines, the amalgamation of SAS with SISA, which was to create TSA, was supposed to be the end of SAS and SISA completely to form one united group. The former group dissolved as per the arrangement, the latter once again rose from the ashes, with the TSA arrangement leaving all the good work SAS did tainted by the decision to join forces. SAS might have only been in existence for a season, but it did more for the fans in that one year than any other group that followed it ever has. In hindsight, I wish we'd kept Saints Away Supporters as it was. There was no political agenda, we were just giving out info, helping fans get to games, and occasionally being able to treat those less fortunate than ourselves. Oh well.

Bore-ain aside, I've enjoyed it so far this year, and I'm sure as hell looking forward to tomorrow morning.

Know what I found made it easier? Drive everywhere that you would usually have the opportunity to drink. I know it means there is still the potential of downing a couple, but at least it stops you going on an all out bender - I decided it was pointless just having one, so stuck to the Diet Coke without the vodka. Having had two months off, and a month back on (birthday, holiday and Wembley - rude not to!), I've just decided I'm going back off for another month from today. I must be mad.

I'm more intrigued as to what difference it makes as to "how big" the football club is? A 2,000 capacity venue is a 2,000 capacity venue, makes no difference whether it's us, Man Utd, or anyone else in it, you still have the same number of people, and the same issues!!!

Day 1 is easy. Day 21 might get a bit more tricky, especially as there's 4/5 games between now and then!

It's a shame Saints Away Supporters couldn't keep running in it's original guise - purely to provide away day info/travel options, run coaches, and out of whatever money was made/donated provide a free trip somewhere for a bunch of deserving fans (as per the Manchester City trip that took place). Unfortunately it got railroaded into following a path it shouldn't have, and the whole TSA/ Saints Trust debacle ensued. If Stu is prepared to help fans out off his own back, and deal with all the potential hassle that comes with it (as I found out years ago), fair play.
