  1. Nope, alcopops all round. Especially for you.
  2. Can't even get the bloody thing to load. Booooo.
  3. lol, oh dear. In my defence, it was my one of my last drinks for the forseeable future, so I think I deserved to make the most of the day!!! Photos are on Facebook. Haven't a clue about pubs at the moment. Having thought about transport though, we may well be coming on a minibus, so makes more sense to stay local to Walsall than any other option which will involve unnecessary trains and/or driving. I shall do some researchings and get back with thoughts.
  4. I've just had a nice fresh chinese takeaway. No illness for me. Yummy.
  5. lol, Rick Astley. Brilliant. +1 to Essruu's comment.
  6. Anchovies are vile. Jalapenos win, hands down.
  7. We're going to come and park at yours. Just register our car registration to a random room!
  8. Sounds like a plan to me. Just make sure we leave ever so slightly earlier this time, so we don't miss an early goal again!
  9. I'm flaming sick of drawing Northampton, would be quite happy to never go there again, however something is making me want to go to this game! Agree were looking safe for Saturday at 15:00. So... which of the restricted choice of drinking establishments shall we plump for...?
  10. 64%. Clearly not the alki that people think I am - w00t!
  11. Any League 2 away ground that I've not yet been to will do nicely, or Stockport as I missed it earlier in the season.
  12. Exactly my response when I saw his comment last night. What a tosspot.
  13. Not enough, as we haven't sold out.
  14. I be driving. Gotta race back to So'ton for a gig too, could be fun!
  15. Only if you can type correctly. They'll check before you board the train.
  16. All strikes off... for now.
  17. Signal's crap on the train to London no matter who you're with - Stephen's iPhone is on o2, and he gets just as many service drops as I do on Orange. I've never had a problem with Orange customer service either, and only been with them for about 15 months. o2, on the other hand, I was with for about five years, and had no end of trouble and grief with them, as has hubby...
  18. Am I the only one who doesn't know where these places are?
  19. I'd nearly forgotten about this thread! Tickets bought, hotel booked... just need the fuel in my car, and off to Hartlepool (via York and Sedgefield Racecourse!) we go!!!
  20. I'm really in two minds... the Salisbury route is clearly the shortest, and I pretty much always go that way - however not so convinced it'll be the quickest for Friday.... AA Route Planner: So'ton to Bristol via Salisbury: 78 miles, 1 hour 52 minutes So'ton to Bristol via Chieveley: 106 miles, 2 hours 4 minutes We're gonna get traffic either way, but seeing as there is a lot more opportunity for doing a decent speed (ahem) going A34/M4, I might just risk it for a biscuit.
  21. Any idea what's come out of the EGM yet Ponty?
  22. Hmm... done some research and it now appears that o2 won't honour the corporate discount on the iPhone 3GS. Maybe Orange will be getting my business for another 18 months after all.
  23. All tariffs are the same with the exception of the cheapest 18 month contract, which Orange are offering with twice as many minutes and texts as o2 are. I'm with Orange at the moment - I can actually upgrade next Tuesday - and was prepared to stay when I first saw this, however I've now worked out that I can get the second tier 18 month tariff on o2 cheaper than the first tier, as I have a corporate discount card for them. Unless Orange can match it, I'll be off to o2 come February when my contract actually runs out...
  24. At least six of us I know of for races now... Only concessions available are Grandstand Enclosure, where we'd need a minimum of 15 people, gives us 20% discount, and has to be booked 7 days in advance. Works out at £12 a pop, full price would be £15. Alternatively, concourse tickets are just £7, no discounts available.
  25. This whole sorry saga is doing my head in... Xmas at the Post Office is stressful enough without the Royal Mail and the CWU playing silly buggers right before it...
