Snap. I got my MacBook on HE, and bought full whack AppleCare as it was so cheap. Never bothered with the iPod's, and I'm on my fourth variant now. Never bothered with Apple support with the first two, but they've been great with the 1st and 2nd Gen Touch's I've had. Will be getting iPhone after Xmas when my current contract runs out. Quite looking forward to it, I have to say.

Ess, out of interest, do you take AppleCare out on your stuff?

Finally got around to watching Slumdog Millionaire, cracking film, really enjoyed it.

Slightly different situation, but my MacBook had exactly the same problem when I got it. After much messing around with settings, and taking it in to the Apple Store, I just needed to change the channel settings. Assume you've tried manual set up too? Drop by the Apple Store and see if it'll connect to their network, if that doesn't work then at least you can book straight in at the Genius Bar.

The Merlin was crap. The only good thing about it was the parking.

Only went to one other pub, The Glue Pot. Nice little place though, good for my ale drinking friends, and I just stuck to the trusty voddy!

That was my chosen venue last time too. Nice and easy.

My iPod did the same last week, tried the above and it didn't work. Ended up doing a complete restore, but it did the trick. Worth remembering.

Can't say I'm not gutted, but it's been coming for far too long, both in terms of their relationship and the music. Gonna miss the live gigs, with the exception of the Rose Bowl they've been amazing. Have to say though that I've always been more of a fan of Noel than Liam, have loved the solo performances he's done, long may they continue. He'll be better off for it.

Drinking suggestions that don't involve The Antigallican are welcome.
