Hubby had same activation problem with the update a few hours ago, his was back up and running within about 20 minutes, so not too bad I guess.

About 30 miles - the train journey is about 45 minutes, but last one leaves Hartlepool at 21:00, so no good for anyone wanting to head back that way!

Not done too much searching atm, but to give us a rough idea, first best price is just under £50.

We'd only need it the one way - we've just been discussing looking into how much a taxi might cost as well... Saying that, if car hire there and back will be cheaper than train there and taxi back, it'll make more sense. Something to be thinking about anyway. I'll have a nosey at car hire, see what I can find.

I've done Hull and Newcastle on Tuesday nights. Swindon will be a piece of piddle compared to that! I'm thinking driving is just going to make so much more sense in organisational and financial terms, despite it being one hell of a trek!

Right flying people, we appear to have a problem... Last train out of Hartlepool back to Newcastle is 21:00, and the first one out on Wednesday morning isn't until 07:03, which is too late for flights back in the morning. Any bright ideas as to how to get around this? :confused:

All my away grounds have been with Saints. I've got 12 new grounds this season, plus whatever may pop up in cup matches. Hartlepool and Carlisle are top of the list so far, gonna have to miss out on Stockport though, so that'll knock me down to 11 newbies. Done all of PL and Championship bar Arsenal, Wigan and Swansea, and done 7 in League 2 already.

I'm in. Flights from So'ton to Newcastle, returning on Wed morning. Means I've got to take the whole day off Tue, but never mind - I'm entitled to it anyway!

Colin, my hubby's HO is in Derby, so he's up your way-ish pretty much every week. If GB wants the stuff I'm sure hubby won't mind me volunteering him to collect it!

Theo is my boss, and I did try to persuade him it would be a good idea when we were on our company holiday in Cyprus last week. Unfortunately, he politely declined the offer. On more than one occassion too. :-(

They were doing pints of Strongbow before, now they're selling Magners in half pint bottles, which are more bloody expensive than the pints used to be! Defo needs sorting IMO.
