With the results this afternoon, and hoping for a bore draw when Cardiff play W Ham, I was thinking its starting to look like two from three for auto promotion. One team will need a big pick up psychologically before the play offs. Thoughts?

First visit was the victory in the 84 (?) FA cup when i had to sit on the stands with the rest of my skate supporting family and drew too much attention to myself when we scored the first goal. Topped it off by getting Sperring's (?) reserve gk signature on my programme in the stands. Not bad for a 14 yr old with Southampton attitude. Certainly showed my family who's boss even though my 87 yrs old gran still calls me a scammer!

If we had even a half decent return from away games so far we'd be almost out of sight. But no we keep c*cking up

Our home form is excellent, Away form patchy at best. Pretty much the exact opposite to 'Boro. We're top of the league which is great but what's going to change first. Home or Away form?

Iowsaint. Don't bank on getting a ticket at the Amex. Brighton are getting on for a sellout just on season tickets so only about 1500 away tickets each match before the police decide if numbers to be restricted.

Sorry if already discussed but what are people's thoughts that Brighton might not give 100% on Saturday given that they secured the league title today. Could we benefit from this as the first game post winning, or will they want to put on a show a home?

I think it was back in the 80's on a pre-season tour to Sweden that Steve Williams and Steve Moran were involved in some allegations re: Unsavoury sexual behaviour. Can't remember if arrests were made as it's going back some now.

Mods - Couldn't see this anywhere but feel to lock if already covered. Just seen the latest rumour on Bale transfer to Manure in the summer. Got me thinking, even though we now have investment available for the squad, how much (if anything) would we get either in the form of a sell on clause from the original Bale transfer deal, or an extra payment if Spuds make the Champions League? He's starting to look like a better 'future income stream' than Theo given all his injuries.

My big grin just slipped a little when I started to contemplate what happens if by some "backs to the wall" fluke p**pey win at the weekend? They will have earned another pay day with a semi at Wembley and assuming Chelsea and Spurs get drawn together, suddenly have a chance of a final appearance. Would the likely promise of a European place bring some more interest in what is clearly not a club worth investing in?
