OK, I can see the motley crew who are indulging in Late Kick Off aren't going to get this one. Roger Johnson scored the last ever goal at The Dell in front of a paying crowd. It was a penalty in the half-time show, during the Saints V Brighton match. Uwe Rosler scored for Saints in the first half. 1-0.
-
BTW, the stand-in presenter tonight is Roger Johnson. Does anyone know what his particular claim to fame is, regarding football..?
-
It's South and South-West. EDIT: You'll note that Brighton are not included, unless playing one of the region teams, of course.
-
Just in case you're thinking, ah footballs - work tomorrow it may have escaped your notice that Late Kick Off, this week is tonight at 12pm going into Monday [after MOTD2], and not tomorrow going into Tuesday, as is usual with the programme.

As Charlie Cox might say... that bike has sure got some mumbo..! Really wierd seeing the Honda streak past the Ducati, when traditionally it's the Ducati that goes past everything on the straights, and then gets caught on the twiddly bits. Agreed, poor old Nicky, but then Dovizioso is a real scrapper. Whenever those two race close, it always becomes something a little bit special. Agreed though, a tad processional at the front, but they were changing places all over the running order. It was almost part of the script to see old 250cc adversaries Simoncelli and Bautista fight to the last corner, and Bautista chucked it down the road. You may remember him from last season, when he flipped his bike, doing a celebration wheelie. Bit of a hothead is Alvaro Bautista. Thought the 125cc and brand new Moto2 600cc bikes were excellent support races, and this on a track where it competes for most boring venue of the year, along with Valencia, and a couple other tracks.

Frankly, I would have rather they'd lost in the 3rd round.

Yeah, I'm having diffculty already.:smt078

Just came back after watching the 125s race in the MotoGP evening of races, and it was far more exciting than that Spuds V Pimply tripe. I wasn't surprised to see that Pimply have won. Typical Spuds - can't rely on them to do you a favour. Typical Skates - cheating their way to a win. No doubt all the Chelsea team will go down with some mysterious gastric problem on the day of the final. It's been done before. Pah..!
-
At least we haven't heard that bloody bell. I'm pushing off watch the 125s.
-
This game has got the similar feel, albeit with far less excitement and actual incident, than our game with Pimply. I reckon Skip might be right, and Pompey end up pinching this.
-
Always knew Crouch was crap upstairs. He's just proved it when it was easier to score.
-
Bloody hell, this is crap. I would almost rather watch golf. No, scrap that. Nothing's that boring.
-
Pimply supporters do sing their one and only song quite loudly. I suppose it is pitched in the right key that helps the noise level. Besides, it's so simple [only 3 words], anyone can join in. Bloody come one Spuds Jeez, if I'd forgotten why I don't watch any football other than Saints, I remember why now. This is soooo bloody ordinary.
-
What happened to your website..?
-
Must be bored. Nearly 30 mins gone and I'm still watching. Can't believe Spuds haven't scored yet. Pimply are actually making a game of it. Very ordinary match though. Why on earth the players can't find a stud or blade that stops them slipping up, is beyond me.
-
We can't. We'll all be p!ssed within 10 minutes.
-
Well you've done it now, so OK. Anyway, we've had them earlier in the thread. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- tails EDIT: How's that for being several steps away..?
-
Liked that. Didn't LOL, but just chuckled a bit. Tbh, I'm not sure I actually like any newspapers. The Guardian is a good read though. All I want is news, not opinon, and I can get that off the radio or news websites.
-
Obviously telepathy. I suddenly had the idea to pop to the iPlayer to look for our match on the Football League Show. I come back, and you've put up the link. Looks like we can get the staff.
