  1. Hopefully, by now, you are in the minority, Dune, as practically everyone else is clued up. Markus doesn't have a few cranes [well he may have, but he's not noted for them]. His business is diesel engines, common rail, transmissions and all and sundry about diesel engines. Which is why he's worth a bob or two. The Liebherr family business is the crane and heavy lifting one. Very little to do with Markus [apart from any diesel orientated bits they need, I'm sure] as he gave/sold [dunno] back his family shares. Private bloke apparently. I'll leave him to his privacy.

  3. Well done, TS.
  4. Hello..? Do I detect a Terrier on this forum..? So what do you think of our chances of catching you then..?
  5. If I may make an observation, which might help the mood tonight. Saints have to win all their remining games, yes..? I expect there quite a few people now who think we can do this. But Huddersfield only need 8 points from 4 games, yes..? But what if they lose 1 of those 4 remaining games. It means that they MUST win the other 3. 2 wins and a draw will not do. Pressure..? I think so. We can make them cave in. Keep it up, Saints. EDIT: Oh and bloody hard luck Walsall. That was a bloody great effort.
  6. Just shows what perception is. I haven't been able to keep tabs on any match this evening, and only got in about 10 minutes ago. Yes, I realise the Huddersfield result is a dampener, and plucky Walsall obviously tried bloody hard, but Charlton did for Colchester. This is great, I love it..!

  8. Please explain what that is, Dog..?
  9. The cat is most definitely out of the bag here. The system has supported families like these for years and years, through alternate goverments that have been pro-family orientated. There is very little that can be done with these people now, except advise them NOT to add to their family. Of course, what we'd like to happen is for the bloke to have the snip; to have their benefits cut back to the minimum; to make their conditions such that they are much better off with one or both of the parents going to work, while the kids are in a creche when not at school. And for them to move into a smaller home. But to do this to them would affect other responsible families with perfectly legitimate hardships too. You can't make special cases. But wait. This is the Daily Mail again, and the Daily Mail are providing you this revelation with what motive..? We knew this sort of thing was going on. If people play the system for all its worth, they can bend it to their purpose, and they'll do it whichever Chancellor is in charge of the purse strings, because we reward families with more children. How screwed up is that, in a world of diminishing resources..? The system should require of people that the very most they pup is enough to replace themselves. That's 2 children, and no more, whatever happens afterwards. BTW, I wonder if the Mail paid the family for their story..? Once again the Mail demonstrates its ability to find a story, and presents it in such a way that it either frightens you or angers you, and knows full well there is nothing you can do about it. I'm not at all sure the Daily Mail itself is in the public interest.
  10. Hey Ponty..! 125cc and Moto2 Races on iPlayer Who'd have thought it..?
  11. I think, apart from our forever nailed on Saints fans status, we'll all be honorary Walsall fans, just for this evening. And, even though we've just beaten them, Addicks fans too. Just for tonight, mind..!

  13. Yeah, must have pressed the ALT and another button or something, because I ended up with two posts, and one was incomplete.

  16. Brilliant..! Harry Enfield as Mr Grayson talking with Mr Cholmondley-Warner about...
  17. You're absolutely right, Ponty. It is poor coverage. People have been banging on, left, right and centre about the poor coverage in previous seasons, whereas I have said it was ok. But the coverage from this season's start is poor. It's one thing to miss Stoner's unseating [i could give you my opinion on how it came about], but another not to have an alternative camera angle, and to have practically no analysis afterwards. That's down to time contraints, and lack of care, and the Beeb will not give more time to MotoGP. This is a totally stupid position because, how on earth, do you get the new viewers involved in a new sport [to them] if you don't explain a few things, along the way. The BBC's coverage was pretty good in 2006 and 2007, IMO. Since then it has gone downhill. There is more overall, but the quality is reduced. Losail 2010 was a steep drop in quality. No wonder Suzi resigned.
  18. I think you have probably hit the nail smack on the head. Brighton are a bit borderline. Always thought that about Brighton.
  19. Anyway, for those who missed it, watch the programme here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00qcpsh
  20. Well Brighton are not meant to be included. They are part of the South-East region. I'm sure normal service will be resumed next week. Never did like Roger Johnson, always screwing things up. EDIT: Just checked. Brighton played Carlisle at the weekend, and they were included, so perhaps Auntie has had a change in policy. Brighton were not included, on their own account, in the first few programmes, but they've slipped in through the back door.. ooerr..!
  21. [impending] bedtime [see ya. ]
  22. Don't know, but I heard that his old mate at Bristol Rovers, Chris Lines, who is currently leading the table of the fastest shooters, with 79mph, reckons he won't beat Lambert.

  24. Does this remind you of An American Werewolf in London..? Found on the BBC Football website accompanying this week's Garth Crooks best team.
