How the "locals" in Luton welcome home British soldiers

When you say "first place" are you refering to Henry II in 1171 or the far more modern and considered terrorist actions of the IRA? -

Is that at all relavent to having then come home from living in the situation and formulating an opinion based on first hand experience. You do advocate freedom of speech don't you? -
Shocker?

Yeah, for me he is the first name on the sheet, stays behind after training, box to box player. At the end of the day the boy done well, great first touch for such a big lad. He set his stall out early in a game that could have been a potential banana skin, but it's a game of two halves. The boy gives 110% and really has helped make this place the fortress it is today. You can't blame him for not scoring, the goalkeeper made himself very big there. You need a bit of lady luck and next time he might have his scoring boots on, innit.

It's easier to call you a "human being" than a "dragged up nonce low life piece of scum with racist issues and an inflated opinion of himself caused mainly by his simplistic brain functions" but it doesn't mean the latter is not wholly more accurate. -

Umm, no they don't. http://www.pyrosoft.co.uk/blog/2008/04/29/army-use-xbox-like-controller-to-fly-desert-hawk-3-uav/ I refer you to this bit, "The plane uses an XBOX-like controller, but it is not exactly the same." -

Me thinks he protests too much. Not only that but it is screaming out at me saying, "Someone please notice me" in a really sad way. For something that didn't mean anything he is spending a hell of a lot time and effort defending it.

If it didn't happen, it wasn't spoken so not a speech. Unless a "speach" is something entirely different. -

The only other thing I have against the great John Howard Speech is that it never happened (not three weeks ago or ever). It is a bastardisation of an American speech from many years before. -

This is ancient and he was got rid of shortly afterwards. It is actually a very good speech but it wasn't the point I was making. If you allow white "British" people to have a point of view you can't then take it away from others just because they are Muslims, black or whatever. Agreeing with his comments in his speech is not the same as saying they have no rights to protest or that they should all **** off home, not in the slightest. -

I saw you post it the other week. I have his Best Of series somewhere. I shall have to dig it out sometime. -
They are doing a very good job to be honest. By buying up the tickets early they give the market stability and the confidence for the group (or act) to book further venues. For this thankless risk taking that they are willing to take for your benefit, they are entitled to make some money on it. Thank you Stu and to others you may know.

Well if true why wasn't he arrested, or was he? I am asking as I just don't know. I know some were arrested but it seemed to say arrests were made after others protested against the protesters. -

I would put all religious fanatics together to be honest as antiquated and ill informed idiots. It matters not what religion they are from or who their God is. Having said that, I don't consider these people to be fantatics. Many white people around the world consider the war in the Middle East to have been an unjust one. On top of this they may well have friends and relatives that are now living in war zones. I think if the shoe was on the other foot, I might also want my voice heard. -

It appears as though you have only highlighted the part of my post which does not paint you as an arse, and which you equally cannot argue against. It speaks volumes. -

They could always just use their vote to get them out and protest against them like many others do in a democratic society. -

I think it might be racist thugs like you that might have a problem knowing "our rules" to be honest. The fact that you further go on to substansiate the point you failed to make by using words such as "probably" and "chances are" really does show you to be an ill informed dinlo, IMHO of course.
