Storrie Keeps his job, 85 ordinary people lose theirs... Discuss...
Under Weststand replied to Daren W's topic in The Lounge
That is probably closer to the truth. -
I wouldn't be to concerned about that yet. Lets remember that when AA took over the court case & winding up order were null & void, we then had a week of AA telling us what they were going to appeal the points deduction ect ect. Then all of a sudden HMRC hit them with the illegal Admin court case. Now HMRC are not acting in haste here, they've been handed documents, not to sure at what time they've been given them. But I'd imagine that unless its blatantly, conclusive & obvious evidence that the Admin is OK, then they will be doing a very careful & forensic check on said documentation, and therefore no quick reply today.

I'm sorry if I being thick here, but I thought that the job of an administrator was to put the club into a stable financial position & not to increase the debt & ultimately to find a buyer acceptable to the secured creditors. So how the hell does taking out another 15-million loan go with this in a legal sense? Now I know that in our administration we sold players had donations etc, got rid of staff virtually all directors imediatley(part of his agreeing to take us on)to keep us going. MF then paid for the next tranch with the exclusivity to keep us ticking on for the last month untill our saviour turned up in ML & NC. What he didn't do was to take out a LOAN to see us through a couple of months in the hope of finding a saviour. Just seen the interview with Chainrai on SSN if he's not given AA the money then where has it suddenly come from, down the back of Storries couch in a brown paper envelope? p.s has Alcoholics had his letter yet this morning?

Yes have to agree the dogs bodies take the brunt of the flack & I feel really sorry for them. And the guy who's been in charge of this unmitigated disaster continues to cling to his position & massively overpaid wage's, not been said on this thread "but you just couldn't make this up" -
If that is true then the stench just keeps getting stronger & stronger what a disgrace. I really feel sorry for the general employee's of Pompey.

Official: 44,000 tickets for Wembley then...
Under Weststand replied to .comsaint's topic in The Saints
Why won't Wembley release the club member allocation within the Saints area's say with a week to go, cant see the problem with that. Can't see too many of the club Wembley members wanting tickets for this. This would surely mean another few thousand Saints get in & no big space halfway through the Saints contingent? -
Not before time IMHO, whatever happens on Monday this is going to run & run.

Both good articles, and about time that Storrie teller was outed by the media, the unholy alliance that is Storrie, Saggy chops & Mandric are on the verge of being found out. But that is just scratching the surface of dishonesty surrounding Notarf krap. About time the blue few stopped crying about the nasty tax man & how the EPl wont bail them out. And start to look where the blame realy belong's.

http://www.fansonline.net/portsmouth/article.php?id=1346 I think the biggest load of bull to come out of this, is that the administrators have been in charge since the 26th of Feb that's 11 day's not including the 1st day they took over. Now they came in with an SOA waiting on the table for them which should have immediately given them a good idea of the s**te they were in, or am I wrong? Yet they are claiming that they still don't have accurate figures on overall debt WTF, they then claim transfer instalments owed are AROUND 8-million etc etc. The do seem a little vague on what their doing at Poopey & if the claims are true, then just what have they been doing for those eleven days. Trying to glue bits of paper back together from the shredder maybe! Love that buisness for sale on the FT web site is Hilarious. Asking price: Undisclosed (we will take anything) Sales revenue: Undisclosed (not much) Net profit: Undisclosed (you must be having a laugh) Fixtures value: Undisclosed (only worth as scrap-age) Stock value: Undisclosed (ZERO) Keep the comedy coming.

GM you do post a lot of sense at times, but this thread I fail to see the point of. I Live in the Stockport area, & due to finances & lack of time I can no longer support Saints as I'd like to. But that does not mean I care any less for Saints than I did when I went on a regular basis (season ticket etcetera). One day again I hope to be in a position to be able to come again on a more regular basis. Until then I will come on this forum to give and seek an opinion on what I can glean from the many media sources open to me. I thought we were one big Saints Family. Now if you look on the just back from the game thread, there are differing opinions to decisions on that from people who went go to the game. This has happened for time immemorial, even sitting watching a game in a pub with your mates there are always differing sets of opinions, the difference is on here it leads to petty abuse. So I suggest that if someone post a nostalgia thread, about a particular game or cup run etcetera then if upsets you that much you just ignore the post. For us who live away from the area or ex-pats then this is usually a good source of information for us, & a good way to still feel part of the Saints Family. If you feel this falls into your categories then I plead guilty. However I don't wish to dwell on the past but more look towards a bright new future for the club & its supporters, that includes everyone who is a Saint no matter where they're from.

I genuinely feel that most of the officials at this level are truly woeful! I don't think that they are particularly biased just not very good. What has amazed me most are the Linesman/ref's assistant's who very rarely make their own decisions but wait for the ref to point which way for a throw etc. However I do think that the penalty on Saturday was a poor decision, the player turned into & fell over a static Seabourne who made no effort to move towards or to tackle him in anyway whatsoever. but that is football some go for you some go against. We should not be relying on the ref to help us out. if we'd have taken our chances 1st half we wouldn't be discussing this now.
-
Now that is a strange comment, they indicated that he was injured on the commentary. I wonder why he threw that out without clarifying it?

Same old Saints 2 great wins followed by a sloppy performance. And that is what is killing us at the moment, the inconsistency of the team. That is AP challenge for the rest of the season, 2 good home wins this week will make all the difference, but we have to get the away performance sorted out at these types of places ready for next season.
-
Poor Result opportunity missed. Pi**ed of again tonight same old Saints. Lets hope we put it right with 2 home wins.
