I'd say J Rod, Long, Pelle and Gallagher are pretty decent options for a mid table Premier League team.

The fee aside this is a decent signing. He'll score goals and will improve the team/squad. Personally I'm happy we're signing a solid premier league player rather than taking another risk on a player with no experience of English football.

My point being it's better to judge a player on performances rather than stats. I'm not saying this guy is gonna be great - he may be **** - but let's give him a chance yeah?
