Don't get me wrong, there were definite improvements in our play but sometimes we need to be quicker and more direct.

At the final whistle I thought it was an improvement, but having thought about it some more... Our defence looked better because they were playing a team that hadn't scored an away league goal since the first game of the season. For all our attacking possession did we really create many chances or look like scoring a second? More home points dropped - this was a game we had to win IMO.

I've based my opinion on his performances against Villa and Spurs when he came on and caused problems!

Not badly, just too slow at times. We were trying to walk the ball in the net when Swansea had eight players in the box. This may have worked against crap teams in lower divisions but it won't in the Prem.

He's been criticised for making the WRONG subs in the final third before - there's a difference! Other than Rickie's header did we create any chances in the last 20 mins?

Did anyone hear what Adkins said in his post match interview?

I can't help but think fresh legs or a bit of pace up front in the last 15 mins would have made a difference. I have no problem with the Shaw/Fox substitution though.
