I'm not sure, it's really hit and miss whether strikers can make the step-up. Holt and Lambert have done ok but Jay Bothroyd (who got in the England squad whilst playing for Cardiff) is now back in the championship are being a bit of a flop last season.

Agreed. NC has made a lot of mistakes, but to claim he picks the team or insists Guly plays a minimum of 15 mins each match is a wee bit mental!!

I think the midfield has a lot to answer for as well. They put the defence under pressure by either losing the ball cheaply or attacking as forward 6 (7/8 when full backs involved) leaving us exposed to break aways.

Guly's drink driving was 25 August. He came on againtst United on 2 September for his 15 mins (lol!) but then missed the Arsenal game and stayed on the bench against Villa as punishment?? I think you're desperate for this rumour to be true but I just can't see it. Again, if it turns out I'm wrong I'll hold my hands up and admit it.
