I think what is most frustrating as a fan is the smoke and mirrors by both the club and individuals albeit Mopo Lallana Clyne possibly RK ... If reed is playing these negotiations out through the Media aka we are in a good place with negotiations etc etc he is either incredibly bold and taking us all for suckers or incredibly nieve ! Equally I ask myself what would I do .. And with a business head it is probably I would do exactly what Reed has done and received inflated amounts of cash on over rated nonsense ... Some would say the only person to have gained greater success since leaving saints recently is MoPo ...

Worrying - this story won't disappear. How many times has Reed said the talks are positive and someone has stayed. Clyne = No Mopo = No Lallana = No I can't think of one - surely if a contract is there and is good to be signed, then it would be. Every day that goes by and Ron hasn't re signed then I think it is over. Saints won't let him go in to a final year they will need to pull another rabbit out of the hat... Simone anyone ?! The only thing in Saints favour is Koeman saying he won't walk out on his contract but the fact the new contract is only 2 more years worries me too
