  1. Any one beard anything about the guy who collapsed? One guy told me had gone - one guy said not ! He was having CPR and mouth to mouth for a good 15 mins I believe
  2. Don't believe it - genuinely a guy has just dropped dead 20 feet from me. Heart attack in the concourse - I don't feel like singing EDIT : luckily it seems like the chap survived.
  3. Ok I was there both times and just arrived in Milan - the perfect hatrick
  4. At Munich - next stop Milan
  5. Wasn't that the first season, we won the promotion season .. I remember going twice
  6. Ha thanks for the reply ... one nil to you
  7. Remember this night - one of my favourite as a Saints fan probably for all the wrong reasons... wee Gordon strachan walking past me, the amazing atmosphere, the goal at our end and everything great about what was English football, I was there! Tonight I arrive at Düsseldorf airport en route to Milan, one of three grounds on my bucket list including Barcelonas and the round one in Brazil. I never dreamt I would do one with Saints. An emotional message but has anyone else any bucket wishes like this ?
  8. That's a few weeks for Beet I reckon
  9. Just back from the game.... The most enjoyable performance away from home since the 1-0 away win at Barnsley in the yellow kit. Some of our football was sublime! One or two sloppy passes nearly cost us but if we keep on this tradjectory we will have another good season. Charlie a little wasteful one on one in the second half but his strike when he hit the post was sublime. He does look short of pace though so just leave him in the box.. Forster 7 - I think the fans underestimated how bad the sun in his eyes was second half Cedric 7 - As good as I have seen him and we lost some pace in attack when he went off Bertrand 7 - Solid, I think he could have pushed on a little further Fonte 7 - Solid VVD 7 - Solid Davis 7 - Great link Romeu 9 - Class act though should have scored Hojberg 8 - solid Tadic 6 - quiet second half, looked tired Redmond 7 - Busy Austin 8 - Leggy but lethal in the box Long 6 all good not enough time Cuco 7 - probably could have done with ball coming to him a little faster JWP - 6 Ref deserves credit coz he is usually ****, let the game flow and I will give him a 9
  10. Perhaps - I'm outside the gate with two tickets in my pocket ....
  11. Other half is sick -I have a spare PM me if interested - I will be at the ground from about 1
  12. Update from club - quite strong and I'd say 60/40 in blacks favour. https://southamptonfc.com/news/2016-09-30/club-statement-eric-black I think it's fair comment
  13. When's the drawer
  14. Has he signed yet ?
  15. Although I think Austin was at fault last night not Dusan and I do slightly then worry about CA ego in the post match interview... I'm more comfortable with CA taking pens than Dusan. I think you are referring to the game at Turf moor two years ago .. Awful pen from Tadic

  17. Ha oooops, even better
  18. Nicely said lol
  19. Inter 1-0 down
  20. Bloody hell .. Milan lost in Israel !
  21. On the BBC site regarding OWTS: Southampton 2-0 Sparta Prague Posted at 38 mins Southampton are enjoying their first game in Europe in 13 years (excluding qualifiers). Lots of singing of 'oh when the Saints go marching in'. Which to be fair, as a chant, makes a lot more sense than when other football fans sing it with their nickname replacing Saints.
  22. If Tadic is designated then Austin is the one out of order

    Puel

I am with Katrina. I am with Ralph I am with Les I am with Puel 100% I am Southampton
  25. In reply to both: Neck on the line here. I honestly think that looking at the bigger picture Saints/Les etc have got it right. Puel is clearly a tactical upgrade on any previous manager bar perhaps Hoddle. With Europe in mind. I am fairly confident in the following: We wont finish top 6 We wont get relegated We might have a great cup run albeit domestic or Europe I will bloody love going to the San Siro We are playing a very good brand of football which is perhaps a little more continental than we are used too, but at times last season our "style" under Koeman was almost Stoke esq. We all saw it. Yes its disjointed at times, yes its miss firing a bit but there are some signs this will come good if the players stick with it. If they dont, i say it says more about the players than the manager, BUT when we hear ITK posters like Le G loosely intimate grumblings (Which i thought was a lazy message from a poster i trust) i ask myself what the hell do we want.... A manager with a huge ego and massive positive perception with the fans that ****s off at the first sight of £ Players with a huge ego and massive positive perception with the fans that **** off at the first sight of £ or Sulking players who are not with us that can f'off put cash in the bank and prove to be **** = a sustainable FC A manager with a poor perception from the fans A greater good I will take the latter As Le Goddard pointed out, this is transition. 1. We are going to the San Siro 2. We are going to Prague 3. We just finished 6th 4. We are Southampton
