  1. Stuck in traffic in Burnley. I thought we were quite good. To many crosses with forwards with little bite but we played well. What I did notice and I have seen it a few times, around 70 minutes Puel makes changes but generally when we are looking fluid and the players are engaging. I sore it today, radical came off and we lost some flow.. I don't know if it would have effected the result but I do think it slowed us down in an entertaining game. To the fans booing at the end .. WTF ? One decent striker of VVD stature and we would be battering sides regularly.
  2. Undoubtedly 4-1 v Liverpool sticks out
  3. My first manager on Milton Road. My first chant as a 14 year old .. we want Nichols out say we want nicholl out Now some of my fondest memories are of his teams.. we could be 2-0 down at half time and know we would win. So many great memories.
  4. I remember watching that game ! I say it with best intention.
  5. Enough. I feel he is still to raw and weak for this level but that's just my opinion which counts for squirt. Good luck to him I just hope he does not take a battering.
  6. Lewis is not ready, imo
  7. I can't believe he will go anywhere other than the Far East. It smacks of it to me, are Everton or UTD etc really going to invest much more than us.. I worry more about what's next with consideration of what I see in the players body language and the view from the top
  8. He plays on the left He plays on the right Nathan Redmond Is still playing sh1te
  9. Hmmm, I firnone valued the contribution massively
  10. Are there any ITK left on this site? AR-10, King Billy and LeGoddard gave this site an element of value, with so many vultures circling and so many bickerings on multiple threads, do we have any ITK of certainty regarding the take over, Fonte, player recruitment or sales and most significantly to me ... does Puel maintain the support of the dressing room ?
  11. This is a new one on me. Although perhaps self defeating it is most certainly the right way to go and should only be considered further in my opinion so as to bring through the spirit of the sport. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/10/12/liverpool-introduce-youth-wage-cap-to-halt-too-much-too-young-cu/ http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38460221
  12. Time to go
  13. I'm not a doom merchant but what worries me is two things: 1. Our football albeit tactically or otherwise is so poor, the players don't look like they are enjoying it first and foremost. 2. Something just does not feel right with the spirit of the team. It's many years since that has happened but we have seen how decisive that can be.
  14. That's the one thanks - need to renew my subs
  15. I think people on here have said that a guy from the guardian is usually on the nose. Interesting article on the BBC collaborates this point
  16. Not a penalty - not a red card but does not excuse saints play
  17. Because our players have a lot of quality and can clearly offer something more than this as a response. This really is a very poor standard of play especially as a home team.
  18. It's to easy, like Liverpool at home ...we are more like the away team while they pass around us
  19. Together as one
  20. Happy Christmas fellow saints fans, one and all. Has been a fun year .. From hammering Arsenal at home in the league to the days out at the San Siro and Prague.
  21. 100% going to spuds
  22. West Brom bid 13 million for Morgan ... we would be daft not to at least consider resigning him
  23. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BgOr4xIBP44
  24. Awful defending. But we are so deep it's untrue which created that space
  25. Ha - quality ! Would love to see it !!
