Having worked in the premier league and in a champions league environment.. this is the least of it. They are almost untouchable should there ego choose.

I'm with many others on this site. Here is an opportunity to win a major trophy and re qualify for Europe. Let's enjoy this ... I just woke up and had had a dream so vivid I thought it was the morning after the game. Saints were 3-0 up in the final, 2 of those goals coming late on as UTD pushed for an equaliser. 3-0 90th minute, Utd have a player sent off at 3-1 for abusing the ref and then get another quick goal to make it 3-2 but we hang on. Here is hoping

A very good article, appears to have a balanced and articulate view. None of us know how the players judge him ... why make statements you can. It justify how ever true you believe them to be. Let's try to be together as one and look forward to Wembley as many others on this site have suggested

SSN reporting deal is close to be completed

Who is the bloke in jeans who joins in the goal celebration... quality. Quality reaction from Puel too, all things said and done he has got us to Wembley
-
Speechless Lallana, Lovren, Clyne, Mane .. even Fonte - what can you say

Deal completed with West Ham

I don't disagree that it is too slow. But I still think half of that is down to a focal point, we are damned if we do put the ball in the box, with 3 5 foot f all players and we are damned if we don't. Going around in circles to slowly as you say. Again, this I a lack of a signing, not Puel although I do feel something is not quite right in the camp.
-
Of course, I understand that. But booing the team - they gave there all and Puel is doing the best with what he has. Signing the players is not the players fault and I would imagine not completely Puels. Equally, those criticising Forster and the idiot who was just on 606 ... be careful what you wish for.

Stuck in traffic in Burnley. I thought we were quite good. To many crosses with forwards with little bite but we played well. What I did notice and I have seen it a few times, around 70 minutes Puel makes changes but generally when we are looking fluid and the players are engaging. I sore it today, radical came off and we lost some flow.. I don't know if it would have effected the result but I do think it slowed us down in an entertaining game. To the fans booing at the end .. WTF ? One decent striker of VVD stature and we would be battering sides regularly.

My first manager on Milton Road. My first chant as a 14 year old .. we want Nichols out say we want nicholl out Now some of my fondest memories are of his teams.. we could be 2-0 down at half time and know we would win. So many great memories. -
I remember watching that game ! I say it with best intention.

Enough. I feel he is still to raw and weak for this level but that's just my opinion which counts for squirt. Good luck to him I just hope he does not take a battering.
-
Lewis is not ready, imo
-
I can't believe he will go anywhere other than the Far East. It smacks of it to me, are Everton or UTD etc really going to invest much more than us.. I worry more about what's next with consideration of what I see in the players body language and the view from the top

He plays on the left He plays on the right Nathan Redmond Is still playing sh1te

Hmmm, I firnone valued the contribution massively

Are there any ITK left on this site? AR-10, King Billy and LeGoddard gave this site an element of value, with so many vultures circling and so many bickerings on multiple threads, do we have any ITK of certainty regarding the take over, Fonte, player recruitment or sales and most significantly to me ... does Puel maintain the support of the dressing room ?

This is a new one on me. Although perhaps self defeating it is most certainly the right way to go and should only be considered further in my opinion so as to bring through the spirit of the sport. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/10/12/liverpool-introduce-youth-wage-cap-to-halt-too-much-too-young-cu/ http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38460221

I'm not a doom merchant but what worries me is two things: 1. Our football albeit tactically or otherwise is so poor, the players don't look like they are enjoying it first and foremost. 2. Something just does not feel right with the spirit of the team. It's many years since that has happened but we have seen how decisive that can be.

That's the one thanks - need to renew my subs
