  1. I honestly think Ings is worth a shot. He can’t start but for 20-30mins he’ll do way more than any other alternative to Larin. For a start, he has a good first touch.
  2. Anyone of those that are recognisable could hold the ball up better. I’d be tempted by Ings. He couldn’t start, but would certainly do a far better job for us up front for the last 20-30mins than anything else we have
  3. We are so so so so lethargic. Second to everything
  4. Easily the easiest…. (Unless WBA get a points deduction - the threat of it helps us as it means Oxford and Leicester have more to play for) *Southampton* Tue 21 Apr: Southampton vs Bristol City Tue 28 Apr: Southampton vs Ipswich Town Sat 2 May: Preston North End vs Southampton --- *Ipswich Town* Wed 22 Apr: Charlton Athletic vs Ipswich Town Sat 25 Apr: West Bromwich Albion vs Ipswich Town Tue 28 Apr: Southampton vs Ipswich Town Sat 2 May: Ipswich Town vs QPR --- *Millwall* Tue 21 Apr: Stoke City vs Millwall Fri 24 Apr: Leicester City vs Millwall Sat 2 May: Millwall vs Oxford United --- *Middlesbrough* Wed 22 Apr: Middlesbrough vs Sheffield Wednesday Sat 25 Apr: Middlesbrough vs Watford Sat 2 May: Wrexham vs Middlesbrough
  5. Good point….. for Azaz. Point still relevant that he is too defensive. Jelert looks good. Problem is he’s playing in Fellows position so if Jelert plays we become more defensive. I’m up for keeping him in the team if we switch to 2 centre backs with fellows in midfield.
  6. Watched a fair bit on tv. Very poor. Manager very frustrating. He is now refusing to play scienza and fellows together which is silly as they both enable space for the other. I think he’s out of his depth, and has to go. His line ups are too bizarre and his substitutions just silly (taking scienza off for fellows today was typical of him). Bring in a proper manager now who can work with the players and train them to play their system ready for next season. Tonda doesn’t have enough experience to work out the issues
  7. This manager is beginning to piss me off. What is he watching every game that makes him make stupid substitutions?
  8. Why do we keep crossing? I haven’t seen any evidence this season that Downs is any good at heading so it seems a bizarre strategy.
  9. Controversial comment I know, but I actually thought the ref was alright. Sit in Kingsland centre and our bookings all seemed fair to me, and Taylor tried to let the game flow. I agree the onachou shirt pull was a poor decision (although, there is an argument that onachou should have gone down), but he did let Fraser’s tug back go. VAR had to intervene on latter, and should have the former. We were beaten by Fatsou (or whoever their right winger was), Saga’s injury and RM. Assuming Saga would have stayed on then KWP would have been ok on Fatsou and wee man would have stayed on the bench. If RM brought Saga off as he was on a yellow then he’s an idiot. RM moaning that we didn’t pick up the edge of the area is on HIM. Clearly didn’t explain it well enough to the player and didn’t emphasise it enough to Downes (captain) to remind the player.
  10. I would like to see Dibling and lallana link up in the championship…… For me, RM has the international break to realise his brand will lose us far more goals than create them. If his doesn’t, he’s got to go
  11. If Brooks learns to track back then he could be brilliant for us. Definitely got skill, and a superb pass for the second. However, an absolute liability defensively. At one point, he had to apologise profusely to KWP as it was left ball watching whilst the Huddesfield player ran past him into the box. That said, he may have been asked to stay upfield, so I could be being harsh. Bringing him on when losing / drawing is ideal though imo.
  12. Unfortunately it’s very common after a nasty injury to get injured again but in a different place. Essentially, when injured a person naturally compensates for the injury, by putting pressure on other parts of their leg. Even when injury is healed, the psychological effects remain and the person can continue to ‘compensate’. My guess is the club want to build up the whole leg fully and ensure he’s not compensating at all before he returns again.
  13. Bring in Potter
  14. Holgate was regularly criticised at Everton. It was a very bizarre signing imo. Put the Man City lad with Bednarek and I think we’ll be stronger. Bazunu needs time off. He looks lacking in confidence. Schmichael surely should be considered. Mara needs to ask himself if he wants to be a footballer, as I haven’t seen any effort from apart from his debut game.
  15. Martin confirmed he will be captain if JWP leaves / not playing. Makes sense.
