bit of a home banker for the coupon I'm afraid. We failed to address the basic needs of assembling a competitive squad by getting the defence sorted first, and will likely go down this season because of it, in my view.

Ralph's backroom team is awful, and recruitment of a decent centre back was amateur. We're paying the price of both. Sacking him would be lunacy, however.

I wish he’d just play the same team. Tinkers way too much and doesn’t seem to understand the strength that comes from a settled team, with players in their proper positions. He should give it a go.
