I may be in the minority but would keep Long as a decent foil for Che Adams, and one who does a lot of the running and closing down that others don't. Especially useful when we have a midfield that gets overrun and a defence that is still way too lightweight for another season without worries

I think he's always had the look of someone that thinks that Southampton FC is way below his level. Better to take the cash and wait for the next opportunity.
