Seconded. Lowe sacked Pearson because - appaently - he was asking for too much money. But I suspect it was because he was not a yes man and would have stood up to the ruddy faced buffoon. I also believe that he did a really good job here, principally in identifying and luring a decent keeper and defence, which was the real key to survival (and indeed progression of any club). He is the only one to have pulled this off in many years at Saints. So we sacked him. Brilliant.

Very interested you should mention insurance companies because when the Swiss interest was mooted it struck me that it could be Zurich or even Swiss Re providing the wonga.
