🚨 Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse is ‘appreciated’ by those at West Ham, but any move to sign the 27-year-old would not be easy #saintsfc [@FabrizioRomano] is this the bit where they get him for 50m and then sell rice for 100? Thought so
-
Tottenham are weighing up a move for Southampton goalkeeper Fraser Forster, with the 34-year-old set to leave the club as a free agent this summer #saintsfc good enough for champions league but not better than Alex McCarthy
-
Pointless paying compensation for one more year I guess
-
Southampton remain committed to Ralph Hasenhuttl as the club’s long-term manager with no plans to sack him despite the recent poor run of results #saintsfc It is believed that some internal discussions amongst the Southampton hierarchy were had about Hasenhuttl’s position, but the conclusion was the 54-year-old continues to be fundamental to their project & he will be in charge next season to execute it idiots

Willing to have a small sportsman's bet with you that he will go. Probably to Spurs I reckon. Or Newcastle, or Villa. Will bring a lot of cash in that we can reinvest (guessing we're skint), and although he's excellent, a good source of goals etc, he's not irreplaceable. And for me his captaincy skills aren't the best part of his game. And we certainly need leaders.

Looking forward to the end of this match and Ralph+ 'coaches' going one week later. (crossed fingers)

i reckon JWP, Romeu, Adam Armstrong (anyone see the close up on him yesterday, no doubt moaning about his lot?), Redmond (always a bad smell from him), and maybe Stuart Armstrong are off, along with Forster. Simple answer would be to get a better manager in. It's not all about money. If he had any tactical nous he would get more from the players.
-
Ha! Made me smile. Much needed after yesterday's shitshow
-
A tub of lard is better than Ralph, tbh
-
Sean Dyche is available

Terrible manager mystifyingly still in a job. Has been like this for months. He just clearly wants compensation. Do our new owners have actual eyes? Get rid
-
What a depressing night. Someone have the balls to sack him please
-
Phone keeps pinging with more and more tone deaf prattling from Ralph. Such an excuse monger. Never him. Bored shitless of it
-
Hasenhuttl: "We tried our maximum today. The second goal we conceded was a little bit frustrating. It was not really necessary to concede in that moment. They didn't have a lot of chances in the second half but you can see the quality they have." #saintsfc [bbc] what utter balls

So little to excite. A shell of a club. Need a catalysing energising new face and coaching team
-
The coaching team and set up suck out all the ambition and skill of the players. And they don’t care because they’re looking for the next opportunity. We need a manager that can instil pride, not one who before the game bangs on about what a great achievement it is to stay up. The twat.
-
He should have had the sack months ago. Ridiculous we have persisted.
-
This. How do we get the message to him and the club?
-
You don’t if you’re evading injury for your new club(s). JWP had the look of one doing that, to me.

He doesn’t. Because Ralph is not a manager. Why are we persisting with him? What do they see? Or is it just saving on compo? Again
-
Seen some bad performances from Saints but that was the saddest

At least Walph got his ickle hug from Klopp. So he’s happy. The useless excuse for a manager
