That heavy defeat against Surrey was quite nicely timed i think. BIt of a kick up the 'arris to show we aint invincible, and better to get a poor display out of the way before the knock out stages (obviously). If memory serves we played Warwicks in last years quarters after they went through their qualifying group with only 1 defeat and spanked their bottoms. I get a slightly uneasy feeling when I watch us at the moment. Not the performances, they cant be faulted, but the interaction between Cork and Alfridi. Seems Big Al is in Corkies ear a lot, between each delivery he is giving him advice and I,m sure once or twice he (Cork) has pretty much told him to back off.
