Really hope KWP is fit for this, we haven’t seen a back 4 with 2 CBs, a right back and a left back in too long. Gives us another dimension. AMN grew into the game but was really poor first half against Chelsea, I don’t see a position for him in our side really. Baz KWP ABK DCC Perraud JWP Lavia Alcaraz Stu TallPaul Sulemana

4th choice for me. Don’t want him anywhere near the starting XI, if we must keep him at all.
-
He’s got the aura of a proper manager, the players seem to play for him, he speaks well and honestly, no sign of a massive chip on his shoulder. I’m on board.
-
Top result, real graft and solidity from the lads and another class JWP winner. Fair play to AMN, he actually made a difference 2nd half. I still think he shouldn’t be in the XI though and we’ll be far stronger when KWP is back. He often doesn’t track his runner and is sloppy in possession, but an important block and some decent passes 2nd half.
-
Fuck me, another game lost before a ball is kicked. Bed wetting etc I know, but Moi, Bednarek and AMN should be nowhere near a prem starting XI
-
Nate wants aggression and being on the front foot, then starts Janny B and AMN. Absolute wanker
-
This sums it up for me. You can get away with being a bit of a cunt if you get performances and results. Sadly for Jones, he’s a massive cunt and the results and performances are dreadful. Hoping today is his last in employment at Saints.

Away games you’re looking forward to next year (assuming we get relegated)

He backed himself into a corner by quoting made up stats. Of course it’s going to be scrutinised so why lie, just makes you look a cunt. Same goes with claiming to take full responsibility and denying blaming anyone else, which is exactly what he did after Brentford. Complete clown, has no idea what he’s doing and should never have been given a job here.
-
Fuck me that presser was painful. It’s going to be a long and ill tempered battle to force him out, and SR’s reputation will go down the pan too. What stats Nathan? “The positive ones”. Cool
-
He should be relieved of his duties at 2:01pm on Saturday if even half of those make the starting XI. I mean he should’ve been sacked already but you know what I mean.
-
He’ll pick up some colourful vocabulary I’m sure

Wolves are still 8/5 on Skybet. That’s printing money surely
-
Exactly. Extremely concerning that they can’t see it. Surely they should have sat down and played out the scenarios. Barring a ridiculous winning streak the fans won’t forgive him and the chances of a winning streak under him are exactly zero.
-
Well done Adam Blackmore. It’s there for everyone to see but still a surprise to see him being that damning. He’d have to be that sure that Jones is a dead man walking to spell it out like that. Hopefully SR can be man enough to admit their mistake and try to unite everyone who’s going to remain at the club ASAP, will get very ugly if they wait.
-
Well at least he’s united the fanbase for the first time in a while. He’d probably try to claim credit for that.
-
Dreadful performance, lucky to hold on. Plenty of players making the point that the Championship is their level. Perraud needs to start at LB, Edozie makes a case for more game time. AMN, Diallo, Moi, Aribo shouldn’t be anywhere near the starting XI in the prem. We limp on
-
I think it’s fair to blame him for that, partly. Shouldn’t be facing a free header but his positioning is awful. Most prem keepers get to that IMO
-
Enough is enough. He’s not inspiring this group, we’re far too easy to beat and no good ideas going forward. We HAVE to find someone new during the WC.
-
Palace were sh*t, and we were worse. Predictably common occurrence this season. We just lack ideas and are far too easy to play against. For me that lands at the manager’s feet as we’ve seen far more from most of these players.
-
I saw someone wanted one, I’ll take the other 2 if they’re not already gone. jharris9587@gmail.com

Couldn’t see a buildup thread so here we go. Saints unbeaten in 3 up against Palace who are 2 points ahead of us having played a game less. They’ve won their last 2 at home (Wolves and Leeds, both 2-1) but were heavily beaten at Everton last time out. Hopefully Che has fully recovered. Imagine it’ll be fairly close to unchanged apart from that with KWP and ABK still out. Still after a spare ticket, can meet in Southampton this week or London on the day if anyone has one.
-
We’ll need more presence in midfield for this one for sure. Diallo and Armstrong ahead of JWP maybe. Will be Che leading the line and A Armstrong deeper on the left you’d have thought. We know Ralph wouldn’t dream of dropping him but I’d rather see someone with some pace in Moi’s position. We need to have an out ball.
-
Adams couldn’t finish his dinner but dragging him off is still a mistake. Such a let off for West Ham as we lose all presence up top. Could’ve easily been a bit of a tonking but for a few of WHU’s good efforts being a foot wide. Ralph out of ideas, time to go.

Genuine question, has anyone ever seen Joe Aribo sprint? Never seems to have any urgency about him
